Maybe it's been a long while since you've seen Robin's Zodiac Zone. I certainly went through a lot of personal, mainly positive, changes during the past few years. That included leaving facebook where I know many people 'see' their content. But I don't at all regret it or miss facebook. 

I have finally hit that point of knowing and being ready to do more connecting and publishing and I've landed on Substack.

Payments are optional on my substack, so that is not a barrier. I'm doing some podcasting/posting audio and maybe I'll expand into some video content as well.

Update for Summer 2025

HI Everyone,
It's been quite a while since I posted here. Thanks for bothering to check the post!
I transitioned out of studio ownership and am still teaching yoga at Breathing Room, who assumed the lease at Leaping Waters in South Portland. You might also find my classes intermittently at Greener Postures Yoga.

This summer I am doing readings by email and energy work, private sound healing or yoga for groups or individuals, and readings in person.

Email readings are $75 and are the quickest, satisfying your questions or addressing something for you as soon as tomorrow and normally within 1-5 days (unless I'm on vacation).

Other rates vary according to our work together and generally start around $100 for a private one hour session for 1-1 people.

I email out the monthly Zodiac Zone colors. It's a $22 subscription, sent around the 25th of the month for the month ahead. Email me to add your name to the list. If you subscribe in June or July I'll add a one card reading bonus :) and you can ask a question or let it be random.
Astrologically, Jupiter is now in Cancer and meeting the Sun for positive, expansive energy as summer begins. Venus in Gemini actively shapes July 4th-30th, putting romantic flirtations, the enjoyment of being drawn to new people, creative intelligence (especially with word and ideas) and prosperity from business collaborations and alliances in the forefront.

NEW MOON, ECLIPSE CYCLE & READINGS IN THE ROUND

Here's to New Moon in Pisces, Thursday, Feb 27th 7:45 am EST. Every month I celebrate New Moon with a Sound Bath in my South Portland studio. People gather to rest while sound vibration fills the room, sometimes subtle & other times strong. I know that most of you really resonate with sound because music and radio is how we originally found each other! You can do some sound clearing at home with things you already have. Walk to the corners of your room with a bell or various bells and ring out old energy. Hang a windchime indoors in an area that feels 'funny' or never seems bright. Play some recordings of crystal bowls or flutes from your youtube or spotify.

This helps your space and your own internal vibration.

After this New Moon in Pisces, our Full Moon in 2 weeks is a lunar eclipse in Virgo, and that day, March 14th, Mercury retrograde also begins. There's no predicting what this eclipse brings, but it happens with speed and is likely to be unprecedented. The symbol is a 'LION TAMER FEARLESSLY RUSHING INTO THE ARENA'. I am taking that as hopeful because it certainly feels like we need lion tamers to be acting right now in the face of what's happening in our country. Let's hope for some heroes to step in and shift the current tides. 

Speaking of that I'd like to share some resources with you.

Use the 5 Calls App to to reach members of Congress. This does matter and your voice does contribute to change. The app helps you articulate what you want to communicate. That's often the hard part, figuring out what to say. You can build your own statements with the information provided.

It's been quite a while since I offered readings in the round with yoga, and I'm doing exactly that on Wednesday, March 26th 6:00 -7:30 pm. We'll use crystals and cards and of course some astrology and after the group readings, we'll do a few yin postures with bolsters and blankets to support us. My intention is to ground us as the eclipses shake everything up and we need to remain centered and keep our nervous ystems and bodies balanced. This workshop is $35 and you can venmo me

 Hi Friends,
We are officially in eclipse season since last week's Full Moon in Leo. Our next Full Moon is a lunar eclipse on March 14th followed by a solar eclipse on March 29th. Like the state of this country right now, the season is ever changing, can be volatile and destabilizing, and may at times take us off guard.
My intentions with my workshops and in offering readings are ANCHORING, INSIGHT, HOPE, &  CENTERING. With self care we are better prepared to help ourselves and others, to act with intuition, and to reduce overwhelm. 

I'm working toward a new website and until then I'm using this platform, my long time blog site. Feel welcome to share it. You help support when you come to a workshop or receive a reading. Owl's Message & Shamanic Yoga with Spirit Guide Journey Oct 23rd 6:00 pm

I woke with a message to channel owl this morning exactly at 6:00 am

I went through some photos from Karl Ramsdell and I feel this message is from snowy owl but I am also posting his photo of great horned owl. Both are resonating in different ways with messages that are extensions of each other. 

Beginning with Snowy...who speaks of a fresh perspective and lens you can bring into your life. Snowy says on this Libra/Scorpio cusp,  October 23rd, enter a time of looking for the magic in life again. Refresh your perspective and approach the matter at hand by freeing yourself of preconceived ideas. Sit above the situation rather than in it for a day or two. Contemplate two things. One, how is this matter and the internal processes and feelings it creates, extraordinary? The magical powers of healing are taking place. Not all our life experiences are what we would choose, and that's part of being alive. Even in circumstances that feel urgent, traumatic or impossible, remarkable and super-natural forces are at work for you. 

If life is mundane and stagnant, gift yourself an inspiring book of magic or an intuitive reading or energywork to clear and inspire you along your path.

Great horned owl says he/she is the master of finding hidden information or things that are elusive or were put away in too good of a hiding place. The timing is right and opportune to. either randomly or with intention, unearth the item or puzzle piece. Take time to study it once you do. And then if a further action is needed, you will know how to proceed. Also, do not trust the surface of situations and people and look/feel much deeper, trusting your instinct more than what you are told & what you are seeing. This is a time to ask for information and answers, revisit an investigation, clean the attic out, open a box that has been closed up, find the right person for the job, and engage in self inquiry and study that will bring out the answer to your quest.

The final guidance from the owls is to write down your intentions or questions and study the words. Read and reread what you have written and see if answers fly before your eyes.

JULY FULL MOON & READING SPECIAL THROUGH MONDAY, JULY 22ND

Happy Full Moon in Capricorn on Sunday! And on Monday at 3:44 am EDT, the Sun moves to Leo.

This Full Moon is harmonious with loving Venus & can take us to beautiful places, literally & spiritually.

It's a beautiful wedding weekend or time for engagements. The Sun & Neptune offer some water sign magic in Cancer & Pisces to add to the atmosphere and elevate creative & spacious states of being.

There's also a sense of speed & sudden need to deide on important things, like where you'll be living or whether to change career or job. That's the Uranus effect, and it also may tune us in to the unusual, strange or inexplicable.

June 16th-30th The Final Installment of Robin's Zodiac Zone Daily Forecasts

Hello Everyone, 

I'm writing this the day after New Moon in Gemini. It's a time of news and transitions, graduations for example. And I have news of my own to share.

After 25 years of Robin's Zodiac Zone forecasts, this blog will come to a close on June 30th. The timing feels right and guided by the universe. I will continue to do my radio show on Wednesdays, and to share through workshops, readings, and yoga. 

I started Leaping Waters almost 3 years ago, in the summer of 2021. Spring and summer are when my changes seem to always take place. I hadn't planned to own a studio, but the universe landed it right in my lap, not once but twice as I expanded last summer to classes 7 days a week. 

The workshops and classes are rich with benefits, as reiki and sound baths infuse the place with goodness. I believe in the energy of people, places and objects, and Leaping Waters overflows with the vibrations I seek for myself and hope to create for you.

I've always been a person with multiple 'jobs', many hats as they say, and now is the time for shedding one role to create a flow that's more streamlined and energetically aligned.

Sunday, June 16th ~ Happy Father's Day if you celebrate. The Moon is in Libra, sign of fairness and harmony. The Moon and Sun align which can make things easier or more enjoyable. Venus is in transition today. The planet of love and relationship, as well as the arts, squares Neptune. Our romantic, sentimental side may be challenged today. You could feel disillusioned or someone may disappoint or not live up to (false?) ideals and expectations. Venus will change signs overnight. Today's color is Pink.

Monday~ At 2:20 am EDT, Venus moves on to Cancer where she favors nesting, bonding, and parenting. Moon and Mercury align in air signs for meetings of the minds. The Moon shifts to Scorpio at 2:38 am after a short v.o.c time, and the Moon and Venus align for romantic and passionate feelings and engagements. Mercury also shifts to Cancer, continuing the dance into sentimentality, love, and comforts of home and security. Mercury and Venus meet, favoring decisions about moving in together, creating family, buying a home or renting a new one. Some will decide to have children and move forward with the plan. Scorpio Moon is very focused and has commitment and intensity, reminding us of what has great meaning. Longevity should be part of the plan now. It's not a good time to do things lightly. Instead, feel the gravity and long term possibilities. Be in it for the long haul, if you make a decision today. Wear Indigo.

Tuesday ~ Scorpio Moon aligns with Saturn, blending realism with emotion. A follow up and continuation of this week's changes and themes. Be loyal and committed to your actions, words and decisions. Keep good, strong boundaries where they're needed. Wear Black. 

Wednesday ~ The first half of today is geared toward reflection and feelings. Be compassionate with yourself and try not to pressure others. Scorpio Moon opposite Uranus is a wild card, 3:24 am EDT. For most of the day, our Moon lingers in open minded Sagittarius. With a square to Neptune, honesty presents us with challenges today. Can we be honest without being hurtful and can we do business, both personal and other business, with integrity and no hidden agendas or missing information? Mercury and Mars give energy to home, family, security and property/real estate transactions and priorities today, and they together say it's time to 'go for it'. I feel ancestral and other worldly sensibilities in play during this Moon. Reasons to decide and take action come with Uranus and Saturn aligned to the Moon. Things may suddenly happen fast or without long consideration. When it's time, it's time and you know instinctively. Monday ~ Aquarius Moon conjunct Pluto overnight for inner and future envisioning. Notice your dreams and messages from within. Inner knowing is one word for this. Jupiter is in harmony with the Moon for expansion including in your circle of friends and colleagues. Sunday, May 12th ~ Cancer Moon for Mother's Day here in the U.S., and this is the sign of mothering and parenting, as well as home and family and the Moon. It's often an emotion filled time. Today is mostly harmonious with the Sun, Venus, Saturn, Jupiter and Uranus in trine or sextile to the Moon. From a romantic date to a heart centered connection, prosperous business day or happy tunr of events, Cancer Moon brings lots of feelings to the forefront. White is our color, and I like opal as a stone for today.

Monday, May 13th ~ Cancer Moon overnight and Leo Moon begins at 6:36 am EDT. Leo Moon opposes Pluto retrograde, a somewhat odd or uncomfortable opposition and mix of energies. Inner and outer circumstances dont match in this case. Venus and Saturn are doing a serious dance around committed relationships and urging stability between partners. Nothing less will do. Tuesday ~ Leo Moon in harmony with Mars and square to Venus puts love, relationship and attration right in the forefront. Notice your urges and desires. Sunday, May 5th ~ Moon in Aries, about to be in conjunction with Mercury for blasts from the past that inspire and energize us. As New Moon approaches we move out of eclipse season until next fall. This conjunction signals time to move forward, perhaps with a 'missed' opportunity or plan that didn't take off the first time. Or this could be time to invite brand new ideas and actions and leave all past reservations or anything you latched onto behind. Wear Orange.
