Sunday: Capricorn Moon meets Saturn, and the Sun aligns with Pluto in Capricorn. All in all this is a serious, intentional, perhaps productive or driven influence. Face a fear and move forward. Today's color is Black.

Monday: Capricorn Moon meets Pluto for a slow unfolding or revisit to yesterday's vibes. The Moon is in harmony with the Sun in Scorpio and Neptune in Pisces. Capricorn Moon is not the one most attuned to deep emotions, and in fact may easily detach and focus on tasks and organization, yet feelings will be impossible to ignore today. Some may include romantic love and sentimentality. Today's color is Blue.

Tuesday: Capricorn Moon void just for half an hour before moving to Aquarius at 10:45 am EST. Venus and Uranus square the Moon today and interpersonal conflict is one effect. Can you work through it fairly without drama? Aquarius Moon aligns with Jupiter newly in Sagittarius at 1:05 pm EST for broad perspective and an adventurous or inventive inspiration to follow. Wednesday: Aquarius Moon aligns with Mercury soon to be retrograde. Note the importance of communications, messages, meetings, and group dynamics. What's going on now may be revisited a few times before the end of the year. This is meant to be a productive time in the lunar cycle. Yet we are also on the brink of Mercury retrograde. Everything is an experiment. That sort of approach may be most suitable for the next month. Today's color is Silver.

Thursday: The Moon is halfway to Full (November 23rd, next Friday). By the way that Gemini Full Moon has some very challenging aspects, and Mercury will be retrograde. An intention to keep things simple and calm around the Thanksgiving holiday could put you in a better frame of mind. Restore and replenish in these days ahead and do as much as you can in advance if you're hosting dinner or an event. Today Mars  moves to Pisces at 5:21 pm EST. It's a passive sign for the warrior planet. Mars is out of element completely. Perhaps channel fire energy into creation, writing and actively processing emotions so you don't feel bottled up and eventually burst or crash. Mars is in Pisces until December 31st after a very long tour of Aquarius. Mars aligns with Uranus before leaving Aquarius. This is active and unsettling, rebellious and out of the ordinary. Could be exciting, could shift something way out of the expected range. Be very cautious around explosive people and situations. The Moon has a mix of aspects. Venus direct at 5:51 am and Mercury retro begins 8:33 pm EST. Many shifts late this week stir up feelings, situations, relationships, and plans. Today's color is Green.

Saturday: Pisces Moon meets Neptune, aligns well with Pluto and is square to Mercury retrograde in Sagittarius. The square may feel like something or someone holding you from a change you want to make or something you'd like to do now or soon. Mercury retro is a good reason to pause though. Is it true that there's no rush? That the opportunity will still be there in a few weeks? Slowing ourselves down is a good plan during this retrograde. Plans may change for this particular day or weekend. It's not only best but most likely necessary to be flexible and go with the flow. Today's color is Lavender.

Monday: Gemini to Cancer Moon

Sun and Mercury in Libra align with Gemini Moon. Mars is across from the Moon, in Sagittarius. The past becomes relevant with Mercury retrograde. It's a peak day for revisiting places, people, and unresolved business. There's strong energy around collaboration, partnerships, legal matters and travel.  It's a day for choosing your team, at least for the moment, or you may be reconsidering who your supporting players are. Mercury retrograde is a time for trial periods or trial and error. Allow room to adjust any decisions you make. Give it a month or so, and then revisit and refine.  Friends or former colleagues get in touch and chance meetings with people you haven't seen in a long time happen on days like this.  The Moon is void of course from 1:58 to 7:30 pm. Tuesday: Venus sextile Jupiter, Moon square Uranus

What a mixed day! Cancer Moon squares Uranus in Aries and opposes Pluto and this recurring pattern is not usually welcome since it stirs up feelings and resurrects fears and things that are hard to let go of. There's a sudden nature to Uranus's influence and Cancer Moon leans toward defensive reactions or melancholy blues. On the bright and beautiful side though, Venus in Libra harmonizes with Jupiter in Leo, and this is a song of love, joy, and opportunity! This angle is wildly social, friendly and enthusiastic. Love and partnerships are favored. Surround yourself with true friends or enjoy time with the love of your life. Along with Libra and Leo, Aries and Gemini really resonate with Jupiter and Venus this season. Today's color is light blue.

Wednesday: Sun sextile Mars

The Sun/Mars team in Libra and Sagittarius energizes this morning's wake up with ideas, collaborations and places to be! Travels refresh our perspective now. The Sun and Moon square in Cancer and Libra, and we can sort out feelings and arrive at solutions if we put in the effort, caring and earn trust. Thursday: Sun conjunct Mercury retrograde/sextile Mars

The Sun, Mercury, Mars action continues. It's mainly optimistic and initiates movement rather than the usual Mercury retro slow downs. As you make decisions just leave room to change your mind or alter the course later. Agree to temporary things rather than permanent-schedule changes or responsibilities, for example. Adventures & spontaneity, as well as reconnections with people you used to know, dominate today and tonight. A chance meeting might lead to a dinner date and a new start with old friend, for Libra, Gemini, Leo and Sagittarius in particular. Cancer may enjoy a visit back home or time with family. The Leo Moon aligns with the Sun, Mercury and Venus in Libra and also Mars in Sagittarius, filling the day with energy. We're in a fire sign trend, and this is another day when the heat, enthusiasm, passion, and sometimes confrontational nature of fire is on! The Moon and Mars meet at 2:34 pm EDT. The Libra Sun, Uranus in Aries and Jupiter in Leo are feeding this Sagittarius fire. The message is get moving! Be in the world experiencing all life has to offer. It's a day of spontaneous action. Enter a learning program, join a group or class, get out of your usual environment and do something that opens your mind. Keep in mind that Mercury is near retrograde and take no unnecessary risks. Mercury sets up meetings and talks this morning. Some of that will relate to using discretion and being part of plans that must be kept secret for a while. Do that. Use very strong judgement around information and privacy and all business dealings. Find creativity in plans and justice and good balance in partnerships. It's a no nonsense day. Venus in Libra is encouraging more equality in one on one relationships. Today's color is black.

Thursday: Capricorn Moon

The Moon aligns with Saturn and squares Uranus. Keep your cool. Serious matters are up for trouble shooting, possible compromise, and solutions with built in defaults. Mercury retrograde begins Saturday. Take your time and make flexible plans. Finish or make good progress with a project. Uranus's element of instability may frazzle us today. Think of the solid, non negotiable core values, strategies or traits you have and rely on those as other things swirl around and there may be upsets.  Bring yourself back to the tried and true and remind others of that too. Saturday: Sun square Pluto, Mercury retrograde

Beware of grandiose plans, taking on too much, and making promises you won't keep. The Sun square Pluto in Libra/Capricorn and Jupiter across from the Moon can both mean conflicts in plans or scale of things.  Mercury is retrograde officially at 1:02 pm EDT, and this first day is known for having all the symptoms including changes of mind, inability to follow through on a plan or schedule, technical difficulties, and unexpected visitors or interactions with people from the past. Even under different circumstances with Mercury, Saturn square to the Moon would mean stubborn opinions and roadblocks. Expect a detour one way or another today. Maybe it'll  be a pleasant one. Some pitfalls include deception including people who present differently than their true intent or nature.  That may be someone who reappears in your life now. Move very carefully and take your time, and above all trust that inner voice of discretion. Pisces Moon sometimes means we let boundaries down more easily. Just be careful. Literally. Mars is trine to Uranus and incidents happen very quickly and unexpectedly with those two in harmony.  Maybe it's an exciting adventure day, and that's best case scenario. Monday: Autumnal Equinox, Virgo Moon

Earth energies infuse this day that ends with the Sun shift to Libra at 10:29 pm EDT, the start of fall. Therefore, the first true day of the season is tomorrow! (When everyone says today is the first day of fall, you can remind them it's still summer until 10:29 p, 7:29p Pacific, or adjust to your own time zone.) Pluto is direct at 8:36 pm as well. What have you been healing and now find yourself ready to move on from? Pluto in Capricorn is a healing influence now, and making an offering to the earth is a great way to celebrate the Solstice. It can be simple, like pumpkin seeds, or water with sea salt that's been absorbing any negative energy from your home or workplace.  Capricorn is an earth sign, and the Virgo Moon is also a time to honor and thank the earth for all it provides for us. Bury something you can do without now, literally or otherwise. This is a day to do simple rituals with personal meaning and a connection to the greater good as well. This New Moon is a rush of energy! Uranus is active from Aries, across from the Moon and in harmony with Jupiter in Leo. All that glitters really may turn to gold this week if Jupiter has his way! Uranus is the destroyer and re-creator. The phrase "all things are possible" comes to mind. Also these may be things you least thought could happen! I hope the New Moon brings wondrous surprises your way, today or in the weeks ahead. Meanwhile, I encourage you to align with these Jupiter aspects, blessings, benefits, and learning, by seeking opportunities, alliances, and innovative ways of doing things. Thursday: Jupiter trine Uranus

The Libra Moon is in harmony with Jupiter in Leo and across from Uranus in Aries as the two form a trine. This is a "Wow" day with effects that last longer than just one moment or day, so if nothing spectacular graces your Thursday, rest assured, these planets are aligning for all of us in a time release way. Jupiter in Leo is creative and about birthing and growing anything from a child to a business to more opportunities for travel. If something like this is pending for you, finish it and resolve by the end of the weekend. Otherwise know that your next best timing will be after October 25th. A short void of course Moon from 8:39 am to 10:29 am EDT is followed by Scorpio Moon until Sunday at 6:50 pm. Decisions take hold. Saturday: Mercury in Scorpio

The Scorpio Moon is joined by Mercury at 6:39 pm EDT. Mercury in Scorpio is an investigator, researcher, and mystery writer. Interesting information surfaces and will be up for discussion in the weeks ahead, particularly since Mercury will be retrograde in a few days and we'll revisit these degrees of Mercury. When Mercury changes signs, perspective shifts. You may change your mind or be impacted as someone else sees a situation with different eyes now. Things are quite impermanent at this point so close to the retrograde, so patience helps. The Moon aligns with Pluto, recently direct in Capricorn. Deep and long held feelings come up. Sunday: Scorpio to Sagittarius Moon

Scorpio Moon meets Saturn and lines up with Venus in Virgo. Get a handle on relationship issues. Keep a good boundary even while being forgiving or more tolerant of someone.  There's a tendency to make decisions though with Mercury so close to retrograde it's best to build in the right to change your mind or alter things in a month. It's a good day to organize, prioritize, and attend to personal business even if that's just about cleaning your room or workspace. Creativity is stimulated, though Saturn's rules may be something you have to consider.  Take a plan and improvise with more color, detail, and heart. Monday: Scorpio Moon

The Moon moves into Scorpio at 6:38 am EDT. Mercury retrograde in Cancer and Neptune are in harmony with the Moon. Over the next couple of days it's natural to feel sentimental, romantic, or even experience some melancholy. If regrets come up, decide if there's anything you can do about them now or not. Mercury retrograde is often a time we seek reconciliation or forgiveness. Move into those areas tenderly and without commitment. Try something on for size and decide if the relationship truly suits you once the retrograde is over, in July.  Creativity soars under these aspects. Channel emotion into art and music, journaling or redesign of your space.  Today's color is indigo blue.

Tuesday: Scorpio Moon opposes Venus

The Moon is opposite Venus, the planet of love. In relationships, this intensifies strong feelings from passion to envy.  Try to stay on the positive side of things. In disagreements or conflicts in relationship, assure others of your loyalty or fidelity for best results.  Energy in fixed signs Taurus and Scorpio, including Saturn, increase stubbornness and it might be hard to get out of a stuck way of thinking or approaching problems.  Think differently rather than try the old way that hasn't been successful. During Mercury retrograde, try things out without permanent plans. As long as it's not an enormous risk, go about something completely differently. For example, if a certain relationship (even at work) is always very tense and serious, try humor.  If you always help and give and become overextended, create more time for yourself and less work by declining this time. Maybe you can find someone else to pitch in or offer an alternate plan for another time.  Saturn meets the Moon and this can have a heavy influence. The Moon is void of course until 11:23 am and those hours are best for personal time and routine tasks. People may be preoccupied. Try not to misunderstand if someone seems to not have time or attention for you this morning.  The Sagittarius Moon shifts things into travel and movement mode! There are no major angles with planets or the Sun, but Mercury is calling us back to familiar places or out to the road even if there's no clear destination in mind.  Pick up a good book, pursue a new interest or a former hobby, and have a spirit of adventure.  With Mercury retrograde in Cancer, revisiting family business may be necessary. Thursday: Sagittarius Full Moon

Fiery energy all around as the Moon interacts with Uranus in Aries and Mars in Libra and the Moon is Full at 12:11 am tomorrow (so essentially, tonight). Things and people may seem to move fast, be unpredictable and ever changing.  Explore alternative approaches or ways of solving problems. Unusual ideas may be appealing. One thing you may notice today is that people may be unrealistic or act too quickly without enough information.  Some freedom will be appreciated, whether it's in the manner of doing things or some getaway time.  Not everyone is likely to show up for whatever reason or even unannounced.  Gemini, this is a relationship Full Moon. Aquarius, friendship and love are two Full Moon words for you! Sagittarius, an important personal priority is highlighted though these things may require patience or much effort now.  Venus and Saturn oppose tonight in Taurus/Scorpio and some recurrent vibes from the last Full Moon might be felt in long term relationships especially for those two signs, Cancer and Capricorn. Friday: Full Moon

The Full Moon in Sagittarius happens at 12:11 am exactly. The Moon is void of course as most of us begin the day, Venus is opposite Saturn and the Moon is opposite Mercury too. It might seem like lots of things are pending and stirred up. The Moon moves to Capricorn at 1:04 pm EDT and opposes Mercury retrograde this afternoon. Cancer and Capricorn get a blast from the past that is likely related to significant other or something very personal. Full Moon time leads to peaks and conclusions. Mercury retrograde may delay final resolutions this month though. Some relationships may take a break, some may find freedom to do something different without splitting up or taking time off. Sagittarius is a sign of movement, and travels will be appealing now.  It might even seem like no one is staying in one place long enough for a solid conversation.  Monday: New Moon in Cancer, Saturn Direct

 It's a significant day of summer as Saturn stations direct in Scorpio at 1:12 am ET. This can free some blocked and stubborn energy in Scorpio. Compulsions can be easier to break and patterns change more readily. Be clear about what's holding things up or with someone who tries to have power or a hold over you. Saturn rules Capricorn, maturity, ambition, authority, the elderly and karma. We finally learn lessons that have been staring us in the ace or that we didn't want to believe. Scorpio rules sexuality and aspects of medicine like surgeries. Any of these matters can reach turning points more easily now. The New Moon in Cancer at 3:14 am meets Mercury retrograde.  The Moon moves into Leo at 6:48 am. If yesterday wasn't very productive or felt sluggish, today should provide contrast and a new chance to make things happen. The Leo Moon is optimistic yet also in problem solving mode, square to Saturn in Scorpio. We're more likely to go at tough, long term problems with tenacity and a get it done attitude. The Cancer Sun meets Mercury for another strong retrograde influence, mainly in the form of getting back in touch with people we care about. A visit to someone or some place you used to know or go is in harmony with this conjunction today. Connecting over the past is likely.  Today leans a bit toward the dramatic side and events while the Moon and Uranus align can be surprising and wild. Friday: Virgo Moon

The Virgo Moon is aligned with Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto for work ethic and moves surrounding growth, expansion, prosperity, and organization.  Mercury is retrograde so be meticulous with information and details whole continuing to forge ahead carefully with plans now.  Take slow steps and have someone edit or double check work.  With Saturn now direct, see progress coming where none was to be seen last week.  This is good news for people trying to sell houses or businesses or make progress with health care, things related to elderly relatives, and investments among other things.  Be organized and clear with your communications and make sure you're understood.  Neptune could fog our better judgement from Pisces yet gives us the motivation to stop and relax too. Saturday: Virgo Moon, Mars in Cancer

Mars is a fish out of water in Cancer from today until August 27th.  This increases tendencies to be passive aggressive, moody and confront in emotional outbursts when emotions overflow.  On the positive side, Mars will be in harmony with Saturn, Jupiter and Neptune this month and that can aid in taking action creatively and help break through stuck points.  If you're happily sitting on the fence, not moving on things, and you're a Cancer or Cancer rising, Mars will aggravate things to the point where you must make a move.  Mercury is retrograde in Cancer too, for another week, so be satisfied with steady, measured progress or planning rather than taking immediate action unti after the 20th.  The Moon in Virgo is void of course from 11:26 am to 3:41 am ET tomorrow.  Do chores, simple routine work or have a leisurely day.  It's best not to attempt difficult tasks or problem solving since it may just take longer than usual. The Libra Moon moves in and squares Mars, Jupiter and Pluto. Today we look for some kind of harmony amidst recurring issues.  Try to see another perspective on a problem.  Collaborate and be willing to listen and try someone else's way with the option of going back to your own if you want to.  Family, home, partnership, and old issues are what's surfacing.  Balance might seem hard to achieve and today is about setting the stage for that with conversations and mediations that could lead in the right direction over time.  Mercury is retrograde so seek temporary solutions and revisit them in a week or two to see if revisions are needed.  Today's color is lavender.

Monday: Sun opposes Pluto, Venus square Saturn

 Venus newly in Leo squares Saturn in Scorpio on the same day the Sun opposes Pluto. The contrast between light and dark is strong today. There's Sun and Leo energy battling it out with Pluto, Scorpio's ruler, and the depressive or suppressive pull of Saturn. It can impact us in many ways one being that things are harder to take care of and at least appear more complex at the moment. Saturn will be direct on the 8th, helping things open up more. For today you might have to accept a stalemate or walk away from a stubborn problem. Relationship is one area of contention since it's Venus involved. The Sun and Pluto opposite with Mercury retrograde nearby will be evident in past issues that come up again. Some may act overly ambitious or take actions that require more time and better judgement. Go slow right now and try not to push emotional buttons or force issues. The Moon is also void of course adding to the lack of best judgement. At 5:43 pm the Moon moves to Taurus and it may be easier to be practical and grounded.  Tuesday: Moon opposes Saturn

 The Saturn influence is at work again, today in an opposition. Saturn is retrograde in Scorpio and issues around the elderly, legacies and wills, and business deals come up yet are likely to be on hold or delayed. News about such things may only be frustrating today, but the 8th is the date to watch for when Saturn's business begins to move forward again. The Moon opposite Saturn manifests in Taurus long term relationships, Leo home and family life or career plans, Libra and Aries financial matters and Capricorn's ability to relax and have fun. Agreeing to reconvene on such things in a week or so may be a better idea than pushing for decisions and answers today. The Taurus Moon engages with other planets too and works well with the Cancer Sun so by tonight relaxation may be easier to come by. Avoid a power struggle today. People are likely to be stubborn. There's a combination of discriminating and open minded energy that makes for a unique outlook today.  Be open to the new. Commit only with your own terms since Mercury retrograde is about to begin and old information and previous relationships and business may come into play in the days ahead. Have vision while remaining patient and willing to see how things develop.  Jupiter moves to Cancer for a year long stay.  Jupiter in Cancer is nurturing and good for gestating new things, from ideas to babies! This is an exalted and fertile spot for the planet of worldly travels and wisdom. Avoid impulsiveness and anything you don't really need to do or say at this particular time.  The Moon is also square to Sun in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn and this action in the cardinal signs often indicates power struggles and with the Sun in Cancer, emotional waters that aren't easy to sail. Negotiate carefully.  Pluto always gives a reality check sometimes with information that's been hidden or suppressed and this could relate back to the Full Moon just a few days ago. Two aspects dominate the day and night. Venus in Libra opposes Uranus in Aries and you may feel like you're revisiting relationship situations from late September's Full Moon time. Saturday: Cancer Moon, End of Daylight Savings Time

Today is busy with plenty of conflicting influences. The Cancer Moon squares Uranus and Venus in Aries and Libra. Monday: Gemini to Cancer Moon

This is 4th quarter Moon phase and Mercury is retrograde. Noth indicate plenty of rethinking and a look at what's working well and what could be improved upon. The New Moon Thursday is a good time to start a trial basis or temporary plan. Reevaluate after Mercury retrograde ends August 8th. The Gemini Moon and Saturn align for mediation and intentional discussion today. Take the word of friends and siblings seriously. There's a tendency to be sarcastic today as well, and with Mercury retrograde we can be easily misunderstood. Word things carefully in conversation and in writing. The Moon is void of course from 6:56 am to 8:31 pm EST and then shifts to Cancer until Thursday. Cancer Moon directs us to what we consider the safety zone. We'll be sentimental and tend to look back in time over the next couple of days. Today's color is black.

Tuesday: Mars Squares Pluto and the Moon

The Cancer Moon's defensive nature is called into play today as warrior Mars in Libra pushes emotional buttons. Retreat could be the best plan for now. Mercury is retrograde and it's not the ultimate time for confrontation or solutions unless they are temporary. It might not be easy, but try to keep tempers and reactions in check. Avoid physicals risks, gambles, and other chances that could have consequences with Mars very active today. Negotiating emotional, sensitive situations is today's big challenge. Mars square to Pluto can be accident prone and leave us feeling vulnerable tonight. Take care of yourself and each other. Go easy. Wear white.

Wednesday: Cancer Moon

This is the eve of the New Moon, and today's Cancer Moon squares Saturn which can put us out of sorts about selfish behavior or obligations we need to fulfill. Mars opposite Uranus can be angry or accident prone. Tread lightly, be reserved if you're feeling uncertain, and get a hold on emotional reactions. Follow through on commitments is a good idea. Trust your intuition and stay away from what doesn't feel safe or people who don't seem trustworthy. This is also a day of consideration and rethinking before tomorrow's New Moon. Plan fresh starts and new beginnings with flexibility to change your mind built in. Tonight, play it safe in every way. Wear black.

Thursday: New Moon in Cancer

The New Moon in Cancer is at 12:24 am EST, and then the Moon is void of course for about 6 hours. Overnight, use caution and care. We'll tend to be reactive, moody, and lack judgment with Mars opposite Uranus and the void Moon. Wait out decisions and avoid initiating anything from a debate to a relationship decision. The Leo Moon moves in at 6:13 am and this part of the week is prime for revisting old business, running into people from the past, and retracing steps from the last couple of weeks. The Moon and Jupiter work to buoy our spirits if the Cancer Moon was sad or rough around the edges. Come out of your shell a bit and see if there's someone helpful, fun or inspirational to guide you. Friday: Moon meets Mercury retrograde in Leo

Welcome to the most retrograde of the retrograde days this season! The Moon and Mercury meet in Leo for dramatic reunions, unexpected reconnections, a return to places that once played a big part in your summers (of life in general), and potentially communication mishaps and misunderstandings. Leo is expressive and we might shoot our mouths off too readily. Try not to make promises you won't keep. Enjoy life by revisting childhood places or playing with kids, or just getting into fun and games. It's a great time for a party and other social plans. Do have some flexibility about time and circumstances and you'll avoid frustration. Accept invitations. Wear orange.

Saturday: Virgo Moon

The day starts with void of course Leo Moon from 1:17 am to 1:24 pm. Take care of significant matters carefully with Mercury retrograde and void of course Moon. Saturn says there may be reason to look objectively, act in fairness, and be willing to shoulder some work in the morning. After 1:24 pm the Virgo Moon opposes Neptune and balancing work and analytical tasks with some daydreaming or good, healthy escape from reality with music or a movie or creative pastimes is favored.  This is the last night of Cancer Sun and Cancer birthdays and a nice, easygoing celebration trumps anything overdone tonight.  Wear navy blue.

Sunday: Sun to Leo

The height of summer begins as the Sun moves to Leo at 6:01 am. The Virgo Moon squares both Venus and Jupiter in Gemini. Calls for some assistance will be common, and we might feel stuck if we don't have the right supporting players.  Keep communication clear since these are both Mercury ruled signs, prone to the effects of retrograde Mercury. Be wary of misinformation, exaggeration and relationship or friendship strain.  Mercury aligns with Mars in Leo and Libra continuing the reconnections, but today old injustices or slights may come up. If something is unresolved this could be a second chance to come to peace with a situation.  The Virgo Moon has some work ethic today, and physical activity is a good way to work out any stress. Virgo needs to move, and with the Moon here avoid too much mental/intellectual work or overthinking! Wear gold.

The Moon is in action starting Aries experiencing no interference or influence from other planets. All Aries traits and activities are prominent today. Be careful about selfishness. Feeling competitive can be another effect.  Venus and Mars work happily together in earth signs Capricorn and Virgo, helping us work together particularly as couples. The Aries Moon is void of course from 6:13 to 9:34 am. Sometimes that means a slow start or mistakes due to forgetfulness or impulsivity. Slow down and think as you get started today.  Saturn opposed the Moon overnight and we might wake up with fairness on our minds, including situations that are imbalanced where one of us is giving in too much or taking more than a fair share of the work on.  Set something right today. The Moon moves to Taurus and meets Jupiter which is fortunate and makes us feel good generally. The down side is excess. Avoid going too far or indulging too much. Take advantage of the positive work or career asepct if you're an Aries or a Leo, and good feelings in relationships if you're Scorpio or Capricorn, for example. It's a day to try and increase prosperity or create a more favorable situation. Tonight the Moon works with Pluto, helping us solve and resolve things that have been up in the air and needed practical solutions. Wear green.

Wednesday

The Taurus Moon blends well with Mars in Virgo and Venus in Capricorn. As we head for a Saturday Full Moon, the productive, sensible combination of earth sign influences is good! Full Moon deadlines and events may not be helped much by Mercury retrograde and we could be experiencing blocks and delays. Find some temporary plans and solutions to get you through to December 13th when the retrograde ends and more permanent plans will be in better favor.  Relationships are boosted for Scorpio and Cancer among others, and Virgo and Cancer enjoy friends and gatherings mid week.  Tonight, social plans with close friends and small groups, for example dinner with friends or family, are well timed. The Moon is in Taurus until 6:39 pm EST. The Taurus Moon is solid, hard working and warm. It's meant to be a day of steady progress and accomplishment and simple pleasures.  The Moon is warming up for Full Moon in Gemini and working toward deadlines or with some pressure will be common through the weekend. Hands on work , building and creative arts are favored today.  Mental work may be more of a challenge. Finding all the information you need may be challenging now with Mercury retrograde and the Moon squaring Neptune which means be careful what or whom you believe. Taht goes for tonight too, especially as the Moon is void of course from 6:39 to 9:52 pm EST.  Be very careful about promises made or gossip or secrets revealed.  Hold information close and don't say more than you need to. The Moon moves to Gemini at 9:52 pm and combines with Uranus in Aries for a very changeable and surprising evening.  Sagittarius will experience this with lovers or friends and Aquarius may find friends unreliable.  Take it easy tonight if you can. It's Full Moon time, with the Gemini lunar eclipse and Full Moon at 9:36 am tomorrow morning. The Moon is opposite Mercury really intensifying the retrograde now. A return to old business, attempts to resolve things and find compromise, and the return of faces and places from the past is prominent today and tomorrow. A lunar eclipse will give everything a big push, and we may be asked to do something long before we expected or receive big news. A Gemini Moon relates to our siblings and cousins, to everything we put in writing, and to the vehicles we commute in and communicate with.  Back things up, double check, and be very careful with the written and spoken word. The chance of being misunderstood or misquoted is higher than usual!  The weekend is very likely to be newsworthy, and eclipses usually bring events we didn't acticipate or create conditions where what we expect happens more quickly! Tonight people from the past return to our circles, and Aquarius and Leo experience this with friends while Pisces or Aries may hear from long lost family. The Moon squares Mars in Virgo and attempts at problem solving could seem like wasted energy. Wear yellow.

The Moon is Full in Gemini, sign of news, communication of all kinds, brothers and sisters, and travels. This is also a lunar eclipse, bringing drama, eventfulness, possibly conclusions, and as always Full Moon deadlines.  It's a very busy Full Moon, and if you feel frantic, anxious or overworked, that's common with Gemini Full Moon.  Mercury is retrograde and it's not time to act yet. Save decisions and forward momentum for mid week if possible.  Try not to base decisions on high pressure or anxiety.The lunar eclipse relates to women and girls in our lives, and Cancer, Gemini and Sagittarius most prominently.  This is about business, money and employment for Taurus and Scorpio. Sagittarius is most likely to have significant relationship happenings either directly or because of a significant other and developments in his or her life.  Virgo, this is a career Moon and you need to put yourself in the best possible stnading and shine!  This Full Moon is loikely to be tough on our nerves.  Don't subject yourself to unnecessary stress or to dramatic people. Wear silver.

Sunday

The Moon is void of course from 5:24 am to 8:26 am and then moves to Cancer. The emotional nature the Full Moon continues and so does the news. However the Moon in harmony with Jupiter in Taurus helps ground us in reality. Begin to look at real options, forward  movement, and an end to Mercury retrograde delays or hijacks soon. It's a good time to refocus and plan for your next move then see how things look around Wednesday.  That will be a better time to shop, make permanent decisions and have heart to heart talks.  Today may feel like an emotional rollercoaster, but the Cancer Moon does help us get a handle on how we really feel! Cook comfort food, enjoy family dinner and time with those you feel closest to.  Enjoy the arts and performances or engage insome creative work. Mercury retrograde ends Tuesday. Wear white.

Retrogrades

Retrogrades are the big astrological story as a new decade begins.  At a time when we often want to make changes and try new things, the heavens are creating a more favorable atmosphere for old business and urging we push new initiatives off until nearly spring.  All the 're" words apply this month. Regroup, rethink, restructure, reconnect, and re-do.

Mercury retrograde ends on January 15th. That day is particularly tricky so giving ourselves a buffer of at least a day or two is a good idea before putting things in writing, signing important documents, scheduling events, or making significant decisions and major purchases.  The retrograde began on December 26th and was felt as much as a week before that.  As January goes on we will rethink things we decided or committed to since then.  Dates will be rescheduled and we may not be able to follow through on promises and plans we made.  On a more global level, in business and politics, a time of restructuring is here.  Get back to old, unfinished business not only now but through springtime as Mars continues this trend.

Mars is retrograde in Leo until March 10th, 2010. This retrograde which began on December 20th, 2009 is also unfavorable for starting new projects and business, and therefore the first quarter of 2010 starts very slowly.  Some things to avoid during Mars retrograde include new building and construction or starting a business.  Things initiated during a Mars retrograde tend to fizzle or burn out.  Starting a sexual relationship now is risky if you want a long term relationship.  With Mars retrograde in Leo, optimism may be harder to come by and enthusiasm more difficult to muster up.  Pushing, forcing, and manipulating are not likely to produce the desired effects.  This is a better time to attend to unfinished projects and get back to neglected business. Tie up loose ends once Mercury is direct, but if possible wait until sometime after March 10th for major changes and start-ups.  Action will pick up even more in May when Mars goes beyond the Leo degrees he's backtracking now.

Saturn also goes retrograde this week, but the impact is a little bit different. I'll save that one for someday soon. This is enough to ingest for now!  Choose tortoise over the hare for the moment.
