Monday: Aquarius Moon

Find your supporting players today and gather around a common vision. The Aquarius Moon favors teamwork and collaborating, envisioning what’s ahead and acting on shared goals. Tuesday: Pisces Moon

The Moon is in Pisces in harmony with Mercury in Cancer. Creative, inspired, sensitive, and even solitary are good words to live by today. If you’ve needed personal time or quiet time, see if you can carve that out for yourself.  After the Full Moon, it’s time to restore.  The Moon, Neptune and Pluto all indicate that relaxation and release will recharge your energy and spirit. Take some time off if you can and if not, close the door behind you and get things done without interruptions. Today’s color is green.

Wednesday: Jupiter in Leo

The Moon sails through Pisces. though today is more about being structured and attending to any kind of business or task. Saturn, the Sun and Venus interact with the Moon. Venus forms a square and flexibility with partners may be the best plan. Try not to pressure. Venus in Gemini is flirtatious though, and some relationships may experience trust issues. Try to anticipate how your partner will feel and head off a problem you don’t need.  Water sign energies contribute to sensitivity, mood shifts, and artistic inclinations.  Paint, play, make music, do some yoga or meditation while also getting the job done, whatever it may be. Jupiter makes the big jump to Leo, a highly creative and extroverted place for the planet of prosperity, philosophy and personal growth. Expansion in big, noticeable ways comes for the next year, especially for Leo, and for Aquarius love and commitment, Aries love and creative possibilities, Cancer and Scorpio with employment and career. Thursday: Aries Moon

Jupiter’s first real move in Leo is a trine to this Aries Moon at 12:07 am EDT. The trine sets us up for surprise news and action around expansion, new business, and doing things up big and bold!  This may come into play with anything for Leo, social or adventurous plans for Aries, and love life and friendships for Aquarius.  Cancer, this can lead to career news that happens very quickly or unexpectedly.  The Aries Moon squares Pluto in Capricorn and Mercury in Gemini, leading to negotiations and unfinished business.A heartfelt approach is called for even in serious interactions. Today’s color is gold.

Friday: Venus in Cancer

Venus changes signs, moving to the sign of house and home at 10:06 am. Reason to nest, improve your living space, or to visit family comes in the next few weeks.  Venus in Cancer is more nurturing for the soul and less outgoing than Venus was in Gemini. If you strayed in a relationship or were thinking about it, the urge is to pull back to long term commitment.  If you were overly busy for a few weeks, the vibe is more about being at home and finding ways to enjoy it. Decorate, buy a few new things, refresh the environment, give attention to the garden and cook meals!  Aries Moon is wild one today, in contrast to Venus in Cancer, the Moon meets Uranus, opposes Mars in Libra and squares the Sun. This cardinal sign madness is about to dissipate and this may truly be one last blast or that may come next week around the 24th. Unproductive, overly aggressive or triggering things unnecessarily can only go on so long.  Avoid the “haters”. Don’t bother with someone who does the same thing again and again that provokes you, makes you sad, or is totally unjust.  Go your own way. Stick with trusted friends. Saturday: Taurus Moon, Sun square Mars

The Moon moves to Taurus at 4:43 am. Taurus Moon will align with Venus and Mercury in Cancer and that’s a plus for conversing, deciding, and communication generally. It’s a warm day for friendships, love, and family relationships too.  The Sun square to Mars will spark discussion of what’s fair though. Seek more balance and do your fair share at home and with family. Get grounded in home, garden and building projects under this Taurus Moon, a sign of stability. Today’s color is blue.

Sunday: Saturn Direct in Scorpio

Saturn is direct, finally, following a retrograde in Scorpio since March 2nd. Pressure may be alleviated soon in difficult and frustrating matters and mental and physical health issues. Put effort into things you have just about given up on, not just today but in the weeks ahead.

Take pleasure in simple things today. Use all your senses. It’s a good day to entertain. Wear brown today.

Monday: Solar Eclipse Taurus

The Taurus Moon arrives at 10:23 am after a 27 hour void of course Moon. Get feet back on the ground as hands and mind need to get right to the business of the day. Any void of course Moon forgetfulness, slacking or purposeless anxiety must go! Taurus Moon values stability and resourcefulness. Preparations for openings, presentations and any kind of beginning take priority along with hands on work like construction or outdoor work. Taurus is a sign of landscapers, builders, and farmers. In these hours before New Moon, do what you can to plant seeds for growth and prosperity of any kind. Solar clipses mark strong sometimes sudden beginnings, and this one in Taurus brings news of what's moving in for the long haul.  It's not easy to reverse changes initiated during Taurus Moon. Be intentional and promise only what you can stand by. It's a good day to enjoy the fruits of labors, move into the next phase of a project, or ground in simple tasks. Today's color is pink.

Tuesday: Solar Eclipse Taurus

The eclipse New Moon is at 2:14 am EDT near Mercury, supported by Pluto and Jupiter and approximately opposite Saturn. The opposition and involvement of Saturn retrograde is the stubborn aspect where blocks crop up in situations otherwise ripe for change and long term resolution. Even if there is still one thing holding up the works, consider the blessing of Jupiter in Cancer for healing and family matters as well as home related buildng and expansion and work with all the support that's available and offered in those areas especially. Also Pluto in Capricorn gives the word for letting go and leaving ghosts and shadows in the past.  Since Saturn is in Scorpio, matters involving sexuality, fertility, addiction, and emotions like jealousy or resentfulness may be the hardest to break through during this New Moon.  News is nearly always surprising with an eclipse. Some anticipated changes may suddenly have reason to go much more quickly. Think beyond the here and now since Taurus is all about follow through and loyalty and relying on your word.  Today's color is white. 

Wednesday: Taurus to Gemini Moon, Mercury sextile Jupiter

Mercury and Jupiter are ready to take action on ideas and things that have been discussed. Expansion plans, family relationships, and opening minds to change are Mercury and Jupiter's mission this week. Aries and Gemini may put this in a business context. The New Moon in Taurus is your impetus for a solid employment change, Aries. Gemini, yours may be more in the works and the learning and planning goes on now for a future shift regarding money and work. Leo, all this Taurus energy is fueling your career and opportunity may seem to come out of the blue though if you think about it, this is where everything has been leading. The eclipse puts a push on and Leo, you are the career star in your field. Cancer and Taurus, Mercury and Jupiter in your signs favor reliable collaborations, loyalty of friends, and good signs for communication, abundance and good news overall. A solar eclipse this week brings changes with Leos, Taurus, Scorpio, and boys and men in our lives, especially fathers who may be ready to move or announce other news of life changes. The Moon is void of course 11:53 am to 4:58 pm EDT. Check your calendar and prevent a missed meeting or appointment. The Gemini Moon tonight is social & scatters our focus as we're pulled in more than one direction. Today's color is yellow. 

Thursday: Gemini Moon

Today will be wildly creative for some and incredibly scattered in a way that makes others nervous. Gemini Moon squares Neptune and artistic differences might come up even within your own  mind! Seeing things two ways, the mind playing tricks, or trying to reconcile dualities is in the forecast with that energy in mutable signs that can't always settle on or be married to one way of seeing or doing.  The Moon also aligns with Uranus, rebellious and inventive, and with Mars in Libra somewhat held up and representing places we can't move forward especially in partnerships or legal situations.  It might be useful to find two things to concentrate on so if one is confusing or at a stalemate you can put your attention to the other. Being bored or stagnant is a huge challenge on a day like this. Find something you can solve, think out and talk about. Feel productive even if it's in small steps.  Collaboration over isolation, Gemini Moon is outgoing and intellectual too. Tonight the void of course Moon time starts at 7:32 pm EDT and lasts all the way through tomorrow. Today's color is blue.

Friday: Venus in Aries, Mercury opposes Neptune, Void of Course Moon

The Moon is void of course all day. If you can take the day off or at least do only routine work and skip any important decisions or expenses, do it. Mercury opposite Saturn is not easy for business or agreeing to anything important. Put off signing documents if possible. Repercussions from the eclipse may become evident today as Mercury and Saturn continue to work on Taurus/Scorpio. Saturn retrograde until July 20th will continue to hold up the process in some situations, so continue to show interest and effort while also having patience. For Leo, this may relate to home & any family situation. For Sagittarius or Gemini, this more likely relates to your health or changing routine for the better and the long term. Scorpio and Taurus, personal decisions and relationships are impacted. Libra, continue to be mindful with finances, legal matters and anything related to joint partner or ownership. Venus moves to Aries at 9:21 pm. Initiating new relationships is part of her mission, and feeling restless or fickle about new relationships may be natural as a case of spring fever sets in. Saturday: Cancer Moon, Sun trine Pluto

Earth and water sign energies blend this weekend. Saturday's Sun/Pluto connection in Taurus and Capricorn reminds us to be practical and realistic in our expectations and endeavors. Speak up for what you need and people may step up to help. It's a good day to make a strong impression, public appearance or statement.  Progressive change is in the forecast post eclipses. A down to earth approach is the way to go this weekend. Cancer Moon all weekend long brings attention to what we care for most, both people and things like property, pets, gardens and anything related to ancestry or legacy. It's a good weekend for a house party and staying close to home or with family. Today's color is light blue.

Sunday: Cancer Moon conjunct Jupiter 

The Moon meets Jupiter for a healing and expansive influence. Expansion plans at home get the go ahead. Make sure you know your budget since with Jupiter involved we sometimes lean toward more. Saturn in Scorpio is in contact with the Moon for a more restrictive influence and we may be reminded to follow the rules or stick with past methods even if they seem outdated. Negotiate new things carefully with the feelings of elders or anyone in authority in mind. Be respectful and you'll get further with your own ideas. Today is very much a continuation of yesterday's events and priorities. White is our Cancer Moon color.

April 21st to April 27th, 2014

Monday: Capricorn Moon, Uranus square Pluto

Uranus square Pluto and if there's a cycle you're just plain tired and done with, this is probably one of the trigger points. It's been active for days and peaks today, waning as April ends. This is about a larger cycle, not just one day or week. For about 11 more months, we experience this upheaval of a square. This is why your circumstances keep changing and once you think you've made the appropriate move or decision, there's something else to face. The next time it rears it's influence is during the holidays, December particularly, and then in March next year. My advice is try to find the message as in what do you need to face within yourself and what are you attempting to control that you can't change. And also to find the humor or bring some laughter and lightness in because that is in fact always available even if only through the irony or through a related memory. Find something to smile about. Capricorn Moon is playing well with Venus and Saturn. Don't let power struggles and control issues get the best of you. This can be a very productive, confident day. Be cautious with things like contracts or orders than need to be carried out. Make sure you understand the directions. Mercury in Aries squares the Moon this evening meaning more action in the hot spots, Capricorn, Aries, Cancer and Libra. Family, career obligations or changes, fairness and legalities and how to grow and prosper are all issues for discussion, debate and consideration.  The Moon is void of course from 7:21 pm on and details are more likely to be lost and forgotten then. Today's color is white.

Tuesday: Aquarius Moon, Mars square Jupiter

Mars square Jupiter is part of the picture painted in last night's forecast and is also in the opposite signs of the Uranus/Pluto square at work this week. Take a deep breath. Mars is retrograde until May 19th. Justice may not be easy to find and action not as effectively taken before then. Still, there are things to be dealt with. Do as much as you can without expecting full results quite yet. Fairness and equality are key issues. Cancer, home or family need to be a priority though career related things are keeping you busy and also ever changing this season. Gemini, be careful where money is concerned and don't overextend yourself. Libra, step back a bit and see if you can be objective or get a broader perspective. Aquarius Moon helps us all with that more global, less centric point of view. Aquarius Moon also sheds light on ideas and today it might be about what's not really necessary. Is there something you can let go of or some idea you're  holding onto that's not worth your energy? Are you part of a social or work group that's too draining and can you change that? Be careful tonight! It's a social night on one hand, but on another Mars is opposite Uranus and that looks ominous and potentially unsafe.  Lots of unpredictable energy may create a feeling of being on edge or anxious. Surround yourself with trusted friends. Today's color is blue.

Wednesday: Mercury in Taurus, Mars opposes Uranus and squares Pluto

Mars is opposite Uranus, continuing the influence of the cross in the cardinal signs. The Moon and Saturn also square off. These squares are challenges at best. Manage stress, anxiety, and reactivity in order not to add to whatever is throwing things off course. Some people will not be able to do that effectively and it's likely to be the biggest problem of all. From drama to outrage to grieving, anything is to be expected. Between eclipses, the universe is dealing some more wild cards that change the whole picture. Have your plans for maintaining composure or for stepping back from things for a while. As of 5:16 am EDT, Mercury in Taurus nudges us to think long term in all our decisions and commitments. Act on plans for more abundance and more security including business decisions and home or work upgrades. If you are fortunate not to be impacted much by the cardinal cross action, you can really take advantage of a super productive time to concentrate on grounding, better health habits, and building from the ground up literally or metaphorically. Today's color is turquoise. 

Thursday: Pisces Moon

This week needed a peace & love day. Pisces Moon helps with compassion, reconnection, and reminds us there is some greater purpose and spirit to life and even death. Pisces Moon stimulates intuition and the artist within. The Moon meets Neptune, ethereal and watery and good for a trip to the beach or lake. Boating and fishing are ruled by this Moon/Neptune meeting. The Sun and Mercury in Taurus give us some grounding, especially in satisfying work, projects and decisions. Heart to heart and sincere communication are favored today. Give yourself time to process. Connect with like minded people. Make progress in a steady, step by step manner. Tonight is good for romance, arts events, and music. Today's color is green.

Friday: Pisces Moon, Sun conjunct Mercury, Venus trine Saturn

Today is loaded with planetary, Sun & Moon aspects, mainly involving the signs Pisces and Taurus. The Sun meets Mercury in Taurus and in some cases final decisions and commitments will be made or announced.  Keep in mind, a Taurus eclipse next week may impact decisions with new developments or awareness, but otherwise this is a decent time to have your mind set in a direction with solid plans backing you up. Some very definitive things will be discussed and said as the weekend starts, tomorrow as well as today. Leo, this is a solid and strong career influence for you. Scorpio, this may come from your significant other and both Scorpio and Capricorn this relates to relationships and your commitment to them.  Taurus, all of the above can be influenced as the Sun and Mercury meet in your sign, and friends and allies play a part with the Pisces planets and Moon supporting. Pisces, expect family news and reasons for travel to be with people you care about.  Venus and Saturn align and we'll be trying to get a handle on anything unresolved in relationships as well as harness creative energies. Saturday: Aries Moon, Mercury sextile Neptune

Just days before the eclipse in Taurus, it's a time for reevaluating, taking inventory, and forming a flexible plan for going forward. It's natural not to quite know what direction to go in right now, but at least try to define your vision. Aries Moon and sitting still do not go well together. Find something to do! Mercury and Neptune are still working that inspired, creative spirit. Art, gardening, music, and any kind of self expression and channeling of emotions into constructive work is favored. Today's color is red.

There's a long void of course Moon in Aries from 7:02 am EDT until Monday at 10:23 am. Keep this day simple and especially non confrontational. The Moon and Uranus have a newsworthy conjunction overnight that can inspire a great idea or bring unanticipated news. As we build to a solar eclipse at 2:14 am EDT, we might welcome a "dull moment" yet not get one. Don't overexert in work or workouts, and wear safety gear and equipment for work or sports for sure! Take your time. Pressuring other people is a no no too. The Sun and Neptune are in harmony and enhance collaborative or solo projects that require imagination and expressiveness, color and design. Dream up something great and begin to work or play at it! Keep serious business to an absolute minimum. Today's color is gold.
