Monday: Sagittarius to Capricorn Moon

The void of course Moon is 4:59 am to 8:33 am EDT.  Capricorn Moon in harmony with Jupiter and Neptune boosts creative thinking and actual results.  Change is everywhere, and Capricorn Moon favors productivity. However, Mercury is retrograde and we're approaching the second eclipse of the month. As you settle one thing or finish another, reasons to go back, change the plan or edit due to new information appear again and again.  Still, this can be an industrious day. Allow room and time for future edits and revisions whether it's documents, building plans, or your personal calendar.  Jupiter and Neptune continue to inspire.  Light blue is today's color.

Tuesday: Capricorn Moon, Venus trine Uranus

Two strong forces move through the day. Uranus, planet of destruction, re-creation, and awakenings dominates the day, squaring the Moon and harmonizing with Venus.  Love, passion and attraction are exhilarating.  Spontaneous, charming, and fun, Venus in Leo and Uranus in Aries add spark to an otherwise intense day of business.  Mercury retrograde in Libra requests mediation and aims for consensus with a square to the Moon. Capricorn Moon leans toward detachment and Mercury in Libra wants things to "look good". Things presented with shiny, appealing surfaces should be further investigated.  Do the guts of an agreement match your intentions? Is there enough to back up a decision today or this week? Uranus also squares the Moon for an ever changing outlook, more progressive take, and sudden developments.  Some will scrap all business for a vacation type day. A conference or networking opportunity could be fun and still count as work.  Focusing on people versus systems and details is likely to be a happier, less frustrating path today. Wear green.

Wednesday: Autumnal Equinox

A quiet, contemplative mood seems right during void of course Capricorn Moon 12:00 am to 1:51 pm EDT. If the week has been full of burden and responsibility, take time to exercise, do simple errands, meditate or sort what's piling up.  In the midst of so much change, life can get stressful.  Step back and accomplish one thing you can feel good about, and that includes taking care of yourself.  At 4:21 am EDT, the Sun enters Libra and autumn begins. The Sun's first aspect in Libra is a sextile (favorable) to Saturn in Sagittarius.  Thoughts and conversations take on a philosophical tone. Taking responsibility for your self and your own actions is important and the reasons become obvious.  The Aquarius Moon arrives at 1:51 pm and is agreeable with all of the above.  Long term decisions will be made though they may be altered after Mercury retrograde. Leave room for improvement and revision, but know that this is one of the better and more likely days to take action during the retrograde.  Today's color is turquoise. 

Thursday: Aquarius Moon

The Moon aligns with Uranus and Mercury. New ideas are shared, and in some cases acted on quickly.  The retrograde is a fine time to revise as long as you can revisit again after October 9th, if necessary.  Experimentation is favored today. Hypothesize, change the variables and explore freely.  Try to keep decisions and projects flexible with room for improvements, additions or editing.  Get excited about something promising.  Socialize at festive or community oriented events. Mars moves to Virgo, and we'll create products during this next Mars' phase. It's also a time of addressing health concerns. Today's color is silver. 

Friday: Aquarius to Pisces Moon

Today offers challenges as planets square and the Moon is nearly Full. Sunday's lunar eclipse occurs in Aries.  Mars newly in Virgo squares Saturn in Sagittarius. Much ado about who's responsible and who is not fulfilling obligations as well as delays and unwelcome changes impact our experiences.  The urge to do something now contrasts Mercury retrograde's influence.  Frustration and urgency may be problematic. Attempt patience and bits of progress.  Full Moon brings deadlines, yet the eclipse prepares to shift things, in some cases dramatically.  Do the best you can, and try not to pressure others.  Pisces Moon arrives at 3:44 pm EDT after a void Moon since just after midnight.  Avoid oppositional people and situations. Find your calm place tonight. Today's color is blue. 

Saturday: Pisces Moon

It's natural to feel shaky, uncertain, or thrown off course this weekend. If you don't experience any of that, be the support person for someone else. Pisces Moon is highly sensitive and emotional. Lunar eclipse in Aries is tomorrow, yet events can be occurring already. They are generally life changing, or at least they change life for a period of time and require significant adjustments to mindset and/or routines.  Eclipse events are the things you cannot control or change.  What you choose is how to respond and what path to take. It may not be time to decide right away either.  Maintain calm and surround yourself with supportive people and clam environments.  Music, art, nature and other pleasant things can soothe the soul. Sunday: Lunar Eclipse in Aries

The Full Moon in Aries is an eclipse happening tonight at 10:51 pm EDT (in some time zones it's on Monday technically). The eclipse affects much more than a day. Mercury retrograde is almost directly opposite, in Libra. Saturn in Sagittarius in harmony with the Full Moon lends some stability while also advising wise action only.  The eclipse signals completions, endings, relocations, and progressive change. All of this is slowed and perhaps complicated by Mercury retrograde. Discovering permanent solutions will be easier mid October and beyond.  The eclipse will prompt experimentation and possibly rash moves. Choice of words is extremely important if the situation calls for clarity and no question. We'll be going back in time to resolve things that need to be set right. But expect this to be a process, not a quick fix.  Uranus is close to the Full Moon, in the same sign, and gives a spontaneous or impulsive nature to eclipse activity.  Eclipse effects are not always predictable. Monday: Virgo Moon

Virgo Moon starts at 4:52 am ET and squares Saturn in Sagittarius and later, the Sun in Gemini. Duty calls. Messes need to be cleaned up and the air cleared. Conflicts about responsibilities, honesty or lack thereof arise. Venus squares Uranus and Mars squares Neptune. Relationship status changes may be sudden or more public. Mars in Gemini and Neptune in Pisces are both unpredictable, though this can fuel creativity too.  Today's color is blue.

Tuesday: Virgo Moon

 This Virgo Moon is focused on problem solving. Temporary fixes help during Mercury retrograde until more permanent decisions are made. Miscommunication creates issues that might be unnecessary. Aim for clarity and avoid that. Pluto and Venus align with the Moon today for subtle approaches, nurturing influences, and attention to love and family.  From 10:21 pm to 8:42 pm ET on Wednesday, the Moon is void of course. Today's color is black.

Wednesday: Libra Moon

The Moon's transition time, void of course, ends at 8:42 pm ET. This long period of time isn't best for major announcements or discussions with one exception. If you're looking for forgiveness, for something to slip by or be let go easily, this might be your day. Mercury retrograde meets Mars in Gemini which has the potential to really muck certain things up, stir arguments, and contribute to nasty misunderstandings or battles of words.  Be careful how you speak and tread today if you want peace.  Libra Moon seeks harmony once it's here. Today's color is lavender.

Thursday: Libra Moon

The Libra Moon influence is social, friendly, and concerned maybe more with how things look than what's underneath.  Present yourself well, share information, be customer service oriented, and benefit from networking. The planets that stirred things up yesterday align with the Moon today, reminding how quickly feelings, information and attitudes can change.  The Moon and Sun harmonize for clearer head, ability to see things from two perspectives, and more ease generally.  Today's color is yellow.

Friday: Mercury square Neptune

The Moon is in Libra, void of course beginning at 4:20 pm until 5:34 am Saturday. Be skeptical, ask questions and move through transactions and interactions with care and awareness as Mercury retrograde squares Neptune. A deceptive, misleading influence is at work.  The Moon's interactions with other planets are varied. Take things as they come and don't be foolishly trusting. The Moon and Venus square and the people closest to us may need attention and assurance. Today's color is light blue.

Saturday: Scorpio Moon

The Moon moves to Scorpio at 5:34 am, but the strongest influence is the Sun and Mercury retrograde's meeting in Gemini. Scorpio is a sign that can hang on to the past, and the retrograde tends to bring people back into our lives and feelings back into our midst.  The positive side is reconnections with friends or family and possibly forgiveness and peacemaking. In air sign Gemini, we tend to express ideas and thoughts and have conversations.  The Scorpio Moon has a less forgiving nature and could cause us to latch on to the negative emotions associated with the past. Today's color is indigo.

Sunday: Sun square Neptune

Neptune is in harmony with the Moon and square to the Sun.  Neptune influences romantic notions and can relate to "rose colored glasses".  The Moon and Neptune create a romantic, creative atmosphere. The Sun and Neptune challenge our judgement. Don't get sucked in by someone or something that seems appealing at first.  Caution is king during Mercury retrograde.  Water sports and locations are favored with Scorpio Moon and Neptune in Pisces, water signs. April 27th to May 3rd, 2015: Full Moon in Scorpio

Monday: Leo/Virgo Moon

The Leo Moon squares Mercury in Taurus at 10:12 am and is then void of course until Virgo Moon hits at 9:07 pm ET. The Moon square Mercury brings creative thinking to the forefront. In places of disagreement, be more open minded, listen to each other and find permanent solutions. These are fixed signs so once agreement is reached, we'll tend to stick with the plan.  During void of course Moon, aim to be more light, playful, and heart centered.  Bouncy energy may bother some and resonate with others. Kids and some adults will find it hard to concentrate, so try to keep tasks and learning easygoing and fun.  Virgo Moon is good for late night studies and organizing. The Moon squares Saturn overnight adding even more focus on structure.  It might be easy to get things done today if you're relaxed and more difficult if you're unsure or tense. Today's color is brown.

Tuesday: Virgo Moon

The Moon squares Saturn in Sagittarius. Learning, training, and education in general is in the spotlight. Commit to a program of study or agree to take the next step in training or certification of any kind if you feel ready.  The Moon and Sun are in harmony for earth sign things, like garden plans, landscaping and building.  It's a doer's day, so go beyond the thought process and produce. Neptune opposes the Moon tonight which is good for productive dreaming, imaginative homework, or a movie after a long day. It's not the most trustworthy though, so share information carefully.  Be flexible but not to the point of bending over backwards in a situation that doesn't deserve so much accommodation. Wednesday: Sun trine Neptune

The Moon is Full in Scorpio on Sunday. This week, move toward completions of all kinds.  Virgo Moon trine Pluto and Mars should help keep us on track with projects and plans. Pluto may unearth an issue or two to be confronted constructively. Act on things that have been overlooked or neglected with the energy of Mars in physical Taurus. The Moon squares Venus in Gemini. How we communicate plays a significant part in outcomes today. Venus relates to relationship and both Virgo and Gemini, the signs involved, relate to words. Manage what you say or write and how you phrase things.  Restrain yourself from strong criticism or assumptions if you want to maintain peace, love and friendship or collegial relationships in the workplace.  The Sun and Neptune are just the right mix of water and earth, add a spiritual, connected aspect to the day, and might fuel both compassion and romance as needed. Thursday: Mercury in Gemini, Libra Moon

Moving void of course 8:23 am to 10:03 am, the Moon then shifts to Libra.  Decisions may be pending or required early today as Mercury and the Moon align at 8:23. Give your word outside those void of course times.  Use early morning to process and weigh things out.  Libra Moon aligns with Saturn in Sagittarius. Intelligence is today's theme. The world of ideas, thoughts, and possibilities is activated. Feed your brain, your spirit and your body in healthy ways.  Read books and consult other resources.  In the body, Sagittarius relates to the liver and Libra to the kidneys. Drink lots of water (add lemon!) and purify your body in whatever ways you choose. We're moving into Full Moon time, and feeling good helps with Full Moon moods.  Mercury moves to Gemini, another sign of the mind, at 10 pm. Expect a variety of influences on this Libra Moon day.  Jupiter favors friendships and good decisions. Saturday: Void of Course Moon in Libra, Moon trine Venus

With so much void of course Moon time, don't allow yourself to feel pressured. The Full Moon is a time of decisions, completions, news and deadlines. However, void Moon is not the best time for a big expenditure, spontaneous risk, or major decision unless you've truly done your homework on these things.  Know what you're getting into or receiving for your money. Relationships can have happy, ease filled time on days like this.  On the other hand though, Mercury and Saturn oppose tomorrow and the weekend is filled with serious considerations. Full Moon is Sunday at 11:42 pm ET and the feeling and events linger into the early days of the week. Scorpio Moon moves in at 9:47 pm. Today's color is pink.

Sunday: Full Moon in Scorpio

The Moon is Full in Scorpio at 11:42 pm ET. Everything is magnified, and some things may feel bigger or more overwhelming than need be. Try to keep feelings in check, especially jealousy, regret, or vengeance.  Allow for some quiet meditation or rest. Remember under this fixed sign Full Moon that things do change. You're not stuck, even if it seems so in this moment.  Make long term decisions if you're ready. It may be hard to change things you agree to now.  It's a solid time before Mercury retrograde (May 19th-June 11th), so as long as you plan to be in for the long haul, go with a promise, contract or major announcement. Mercury opposes Saturn in two very different signs from Scorpio, Gemini and Sagittarius. This relates to wise decisions and also learning and growing through challenge and experience.  It's a powerful Full Moon with some vibrations from last month's April 4th eclipse. Weekly Astrology January 26th to February 1st, 2015

Monday: Taurus Moon

The Moon starts void of course 9:23 to 11:37 am ET in Aries and shifts to Taurus. Those hours are prone to rushing and scrambling to pull things together. Moon and Venus put us in social moods, and it will be a challenge to focus or get the group down to the business at hand. Taurus Moon improves focus, slows us down (which complements the Mercury retrograde we're in), and aligns with Neptune for ability to take imaginative ideas and express them with construction, art, music and writing to name a few possibilities. Today's color is pink.

Tuesday: Taurus Moon

Taurus is an earth sign grounded in handiwork, building and manifesting.  The Moon is contacted by Mercury retrograde for overdue discussions that lead to action. Though you may be tempted to enter a long term agreement under these aspects, a trial basis is best until after February 11th. Jupiter also squares the Moon from Leo and we aim for growth and bringing things to fruition. It's a good time to get back to a project you want to successfully complete, in due time. Mars in Pisces aligns harmoniously with the Moon adding to the creative and emotional tones in the air. Do something cathartic. Mercury retrograde is a time for process. Channel feelings into productive things like cooking, doing the dishes, making art, and writing your memoir. Void of course Moon is from 9:18 pm ET to 5:36 pm Wednesday. Today's color is green.

Wednesday: Void of course Moon

The Moon is in that void of course transition time and it can create a bit of a fog. Mercury is retrograde too, so judgement calls may be unreliable. Second guessing is a good thing right now. News comes fast and furious with Mercury and Uranus aligned. Ingenuity, originality and the unusual are results of those two teaming in Aquarius and Aries. Act slowly and thoughtfully though. Write down insights for future action. The Gemini Moon is opposite Saturn and square to Venus tonight, testing our close relationships and ability to listen and negotiate fairly and honestly. Thursday: Gemini Moon

This part of the week is full of itself. I'm laughing and serious at the same time. News may be unexpected or weird during this Gemini Moon. It might be hard to know what to think or believe. People may demand quick responses. Don't go down that road. Take your sweet time and find your inner peace as well as something reasonable with others who can't quite do that. Having said that, it's a very social day as the Moon aligns with Mercury and the Sun, and you could enjoy the company of funny, entertaining, happy friends including people you haven't seen in a long while. Today's color is white. 

Friday: Gemini Moon Void of Course

The Moon is void from 4:24 am ET until Saturday 2:09 am. Take your time in every way. Read a book that expands your perspective or take a short journey out of town. The more you can flow with whatever comes up, the better. The Sun and Mercury retrograde meet for revisiting people and places from the past. This is an expressive conjunction and some announcements will come retroactively. What you expected months or weeks ago becomes public on days like this.  Teamwork is favored. Mars and Pluto align for some serious insight. Aries, Capricorn, and Scorpio experience this most personally while Virgo is most likely to come to realizations about relationships and friendships. Cancer Moon turns us toward personal priorities, life at home, and family matters of all kinds.  Clean the house, bake a cake, and find uplifting things to do. It's a slow down time, but during Cancer Moon you don't want too much sluggish energy to take over. Drink lots of fresh water and eat nourishing foods. The belly can be sensitive during Cancer Moon time. Notice what you're taking in. The environment will also have an effect on mood. Aim for comfort and soothing. Venus and Neptune in Pisces align with the Moon for romance and creativity. It's a good date night. Today's color is light blue.

Sunday: Cancer Moon Void of Course

The Moon is void of course from 8:37 am until 12:41 pm Monday ET. Interesting day for the big game in the USA since errors in judgement, forgetfulness and lack of focus are likely. The Moon opposes Pluto and squares Uranus. This always makes for challenging times related to recurring patterns. Uranus is the wild card and brings on what's not expected or what we may not be ready to deal with.  Venus and Neptune meet in Pisces for love and heart. Cancer, Pisces and Virgo are most likely to be in the midst of a happily romantic weekend. We are also close to the Full Moon and emotions are heightened. Try to be understanding this weekend even if you're irked. Today's color is white.

Moon in Capricorn is void from 5:54 am to 7:59 am on Tuesday. It's a great vacation day and a good time to get organized and clean. Today is not the most favorable for shopping though you may be tempted. Make sure you can exchange what you buy. Back up files now since Mercury retrograde begins Wednesday. Save receipts and give yourself lists, prompts and a calendar to keep track of appointments and when bills are due. Venus opposes Jupiter and may be pleasurable for lovers and those of you growing businesses, especially creative ones. Mars and Neptune activate imagination, dreams, and the ability to make tangible things from wild ideas. Build or create something today. It's the last full day of Capricorn birthdays, the day before New Moon and a natural time to be reconsidering a decision you thought was final. Wear navy blue.

Tuesday: New Moon in Aquarius, Sun in Aquarius

Aquarius activity has been going on for weeks with Mercury and Venus, and now the Sun moves in at 4:43 am. New Moon in Aquarius arrives at 8:14 am ET. Aquarius energizes community, friendship, and inventive ideas. A good blend of scientific and intellectual thinking and personable, extroverted, and creative traits is the beauty of a strong Aquarius time. The "new" of this New Moon may be more about reinventing and rediscovering. It's a time to going back to see what's relevant again and might be renewed. That includes relationships, but do so cautiously and without promises until after February 11th. Mercury retrograde begins tomorrow. Find some structure to support your dreams and pursuits. Wednesday: Mercury retrograde in Aquarius

Mercury retrograde is official at 10:54 am. We've been experiencing the foreshadow of this time for days now. Today is full of news, communication, and surprises. Think before you respond and sift through information for truths, fallacies, and what's questionable. Take your time for these three weeks. Be particularly cautious with what you promise and what you spend money on. It's not a good time for a bet or risk. Venus in Aquarius makes this a very likely time for reuniting with a lover. Do that with few expectations and on a trial basis, if that's relevant to you. Leo, Aquarius, and Libra are in line for that experience as well as renewing vows and considering decisions and next moves with "the one you're with".  Jupiter is opposite the Moon today sending blessings and joy and reminding us that growth is possible. Thursday: Pisces Moon

The Moon meets both Neptune and Mars for a burst of Pisces spirit. This includes the ability to sense and feel, even without physical proof. You might feel more intuitive or emotional. Channel feelings into building, creating or even cleaning. Growth as a result of inner processes and understanding is favored now. Mercury is retrograde and anything from the past that crops up can provide deeper insight, healing or release from the past.  Mars in Pisces can agitate if you have nothing productive or cathartic to devote your energy to. Hot baths, swimming, meditation and yoga are some ways to detox and cleanse anything you don't need hanging around in the psyche or the body.  The Moon and Saturn align for stability in the face of change. Aquarius Sun and Saturn in Sagittarius combine for logical thinking and action today.  Do what makes sense, especially if it's something you decided weeks ago and are now ready to act on.
