Sunday, April 7th ~ As we approach New Moon and the eclipse on Monday, the Moon moves between Pisces and Aries, first meeting Neptune at 4:27 am, setting a surreal tone and atmosphere this morning. From that time until 7:25 am ET, the Moon is void of course. Early risers may get lost in beautiful moments or experience unusual occurences and metaphysical experiences. Aries Moon follows, bringing us into our own most important agendas and possibly we hope to move something forward as the Moon and Mercury meet at 10:31 am ET, an interesting time if you're in a meeting or important discussion this morning. Notice what comes up and it's relationship to past time, reconnecting with people or a person or a place. Aries Moon meets Venus at 12:22 pm ET, instigating attractions, collaboration, and even spur of the moment adventures. This all could make for a nice afternoon. Today's color is Red.
Monday, April 8th ~The Solar Eclipse simultaenous with New Moon in Aries (they are always simultaneous, the eclipse and the New or Full Moon) is full of promise. This big shift and event of the total eclipse, visible in parts of the US this time, is supported by Mercury, also in Aries. The Moon meets Mercury at 10:39 pm ET, after the eclipse. Mercury is the communication and travel planet, relates to both our plans and how we carry them through, and is currently retrograde. So as we make our shifts and progressions, the past is directly in view and influencing eveything. It may be the undercurrent of the past that lives on in your memory and affects your current responses and decisions. It may also be more active and in the forefront as in someone returning or you returning to a place or to a situation that could never move forward and now things look promising again. Tuesday ~ Taurus Moon from 7:23 am ET into Thursday. The Moon squares Pluto. Our relationship to and feelings about our property and possessions and the money we earn and spend are today's main topics. Making home and workplaces more emotionally comfortable is something to be dealt with today as well. Taurus Moon favors hands on projects and initiating or getting back to one is favored today. Stay soul oriented in this material world and as you handle life's necessary tasks. Today's color is Pink.
Wednesday ~ Taurus Moon with 4 harmonious aspects. And Mars meets Saturn in Pisces. The Mars Saturn conjunction can be pushy or authoritative. The balance is to deal with an important matter without bullying, anger or aggression. Taurus Moon meets Jupiter and Uranus for extreme outcomes and developments. Determination increases. Be realistic and keep some perspective as some things could feel over the top. As they peak, they will also settle and/or become more clear. Forms and patterns are set to change this season and everything requires time and adjustment. Today's color is Black.
Thursday ~ Taurus Moon aligns with Neptune reflecting something from Saturday/Sunday in terms of dreams, romance, and/or spiritual experience as connected to earthly life. I like this morning for a walk in nature, away from the hustle even if it's only a few steps into the woods or onto the local beach or river walk. The Moon moves to Gemini at 8:59 am ET and aligns with Pluto. Ideas percolate and inner wisdom speaks. The Sun and Mercury meet on this very Aries oriented day, and this is one of the peaks of Mercury retrograde which lasts until the 25th. This feels like a positive peak, such as a reunion or a revisting of a promising opportunity or decision that was overdue in some way. Express your hopes and ask for what you need. The Moon and Venus are aligned which can ease relationships. Enjoy time with someone, notice your intellectual connections and like mindedness. If times are tense, could today provide some respite and allow for some joy. This could be a good date night or afternoon out for leisure. Wear Orange.
Friday ~ Gemini Moon promises a mixed bag today, with potential stress or conflicting plans, yet also reasons to get together, share stories, interact and enjoy the company of others, especially in the evening hours. Today's color is Blue.
Saturday ~ Gemini Moon aligns with the Sun for more connection between us and for getting our minds and emotions aligned. This feels optimistic and perhaps more focused. At 10:45 am, the Moon squares Neptune bringing truth/lack of truth to the forefront. Ask questions to clarify anything unclear and notice if someone is avoiding the real issue by diverting attention. Follow through on promises (I said promises often in this week's forecast*). Cancer Moon 1:45 pm ET forward through the weekend. Light Blue is today's color.
