Monday: Solstice, Full Moon

Full Moon is at 7:02 am EDT. The Moon moves to Capricorn at 7:55 am. Solstice is 6:33 pm as the Sun shifts to Cancer and summer begins. The symbols for today included Sailors drawing down one sail to make way for a new one (Solstice degree) and The Pope gives a blessing to the faithful (Full Moon degree.) Freedom, faith, truths and shift out of old paradigms thematically represent what's going on in the heavens.  Mercury is opposite Saturn challenging structures that are outgrown.  Think flexibly as you problem solve. If you've tried the same thing repeatedly, seek another route or method.  Mercury square Neptune is a questioning aspect involving curiosity that precedes learning and answers. Questioning is healthy. Do not take everything at surface value. Look below the appearance or the words for what's authentic. Put your own blessing on everything and everyone around you.  You don't have to be "ordained" to bless. Do it from the heart.  Tension is like a elastic band during this Full Moon. Tuesday: Capricorn Moon

The Moon aligns with Neptune and Jupiter. These are healing aspects.  Soften, yield, and stay present in the physical environment, your body, and in movement.  The Moon and Pluto retrograde meet in Capricorn. Pluto is planet of transformation, and in the Full Moon period, metamorphosis occurs. This is a peak time. Notice how you're responding from the inside. Soul alignment day.  Pay attention to the structures in place that allow for freedom. You can have both. Today's color is green.

Wednesday: Mercury square Jupiter

The Moon lines up with Mars retrograde in Scorpio harmoniously, and also squares Uranus in Mars' natural sign, Aries. Mars bestows courage yet also anger. The more aggressive of emotions influence our day.  It's important not to stuff emotions while Mars is in Scorpio, but appropriate expression must be found. Creative projects and outlets help.  Mercury squares Jupiter in mutable Gemini and Virgo. Use flexible thinking around health, problem solving and planning. Consensus can be the result of this square. Scale plans larger or smaller as necessary. Provide structures and templates as you construct or assist others. Friday: Aquarius to Pisces Moon

Moon aligns with Mercury in air sign Gemini and with Uranus in fire sign Aries. This ought to light some metaphorical fires regarding what needs to be taken care of. Think things out well and brainstorm. Allow all involved to speak for themselves. Sunday: Jupiter sextile Pluto

The healing influence of Jupiter in Virgo aligned with Pluto retro in Capricorn is distinctly present and peaking. Witness transformation in yourself, others and the world. Monday: Libra Moon, Neptune retrograde in Pisces

Libra Moon aligns with Saturn retro in Sagittarius in a sextile, a favorable angle two signs apart. Make new agreements around old business and revisions to systems and structures that need improvement. With Mats and Saturn retro, this is not the time to form brand new agreements or establish a system or a building for the first time. This is about re-doing and changing what's been in place. It's an important distinction. Mars retro is not a favorable time to launch a business or start a major project. Saturn is slowing things down until August 13th to help us review and revise the skeletal structures that stabilize us and provide frameworks and templates, personally or professionally.  Neptune joins the retrograde crew today, and will square Saturn on Friday, affecting both this week and next. Financial agreements are not recommended at this time. Other negotiations, especially those in the works for what seems like forever, are up for long term resolution. Justice is a theme today. Be fair in every way possible. Will two retrogrades in a square turn negative to positive on Friday? I don't think so. Be curious, questioning, and wise this week. Neptune in Pisces is duplicitous and deceiving. These retrograde planets in tandem will force out the truth and change systems that are outdated, but this doesn't usually happen overnight. Collectively, be careful about fear of what you don't know,  do not assume, question motives, and beware of what's vague and unclear, all the way through November and particularly this week. Tuesday: Libra Moon opposite Uranus, Sun sextile Uranus

This is a day of surprises. Uranus rarely delivers what we expect, yet allows for sudden changes, inspired ideas, and avant-garde thinking and attitudes. Originality and out of the blue answers come on days like this. Sun in Gemini relates to communication, commuting, and plans and Uranus in Aries is the unusual and new. It's a huge brainstorming day. Conditions are right for inventing and improvising successfully. Get turned on to something fresh and unique, from fashion to philosophy. Note the unusual among your friends and colleagues and see what there is to appreciate in walking outside the traditional path.  The downside to Uranus activity is freak accidents and startling news. Hopefully that will not happen, but stay very aware and in control of your responses.  It's not a good day to be inebriated or even on strong cold medicine, for example. Lightning speed of any kind is in the forecast today. Moon in harmony with Venus overnight makes for a romantic, fun date. Our color is turquoise.

Wednesday: 2nd Quarter Moon, Moon Libra to Scorpio

From 3:00 am to 9:18 am, the Moon is void of course. Scorpio Moon moves in, and determination and passion for desired outcomes is activated.  Full Moon is next Monday and some of us will pursue a deadline just ahead.  It is a good time for focus and depth, whatever your topic or project.  Becoming more single minded is natural now, as is becoming more private and solitary.  This doesn't mean having to spend all your time alone. It does mean that taking a few hours to do that may result in the productivity or personal introspection you need. Meditation is favored and may be easier than on, for example, a Gemini type day. Define your purpose and outline some steps.  Venus and the Sun in Gemini still favor social times as well. Balance your introverted and extroverted sides with a bit of variety.  Today's color is maroon.

Thursday: Scorpio Moon

The Moon harmonizes with Neptune in Pisces (retro), Jupiter in Virgo, and Pluto in Capricorn (retro). With Saturn and Mars in the retrograde mix too,  relevance to the past flows through present activities. Learn from the past, for example. If being fixed on and pursuing something or someone only resulted in frustration or hurt, consider not repeating that pattern. The Sun and Uranus early in the week, set you up to try acting or thinking differently. Follow up on a great idea, especially if it relates to revising a plan or structure that simply does not work efficiently.  Jupiter encourages growth, prosperity and health and is harmony with the Moon today.  Attend to a health matter and follow up on your plan or "prescription." Drugs are ruled by Neptune, and now I'm talking about the ones that disconnect us from our bodies and clear mindedness. Never a good idea, they can be even more of an issue with Neptune retrograde.  Avoid recreational use or abuse in an attempt to solve depression and problems. Scorpio and Pisces are both prone to issues with substances as are those born with certain aspects in personal charts ( at least that's my point of view), like Saturn in Scorpio (you are now about 33 years old or in your early 60s).  Look for solutions to long standing patterns that could use a shake up in order to create more health, abundance and happiness. Friday: Scorpio Moon conjunct Mars, Saturn square Neptune (both retrograde), Venus to Cancer

This is a climactic day or a turning point in the season. Monday is the Full Moon and Solstice, however the intensity is present all the way through the next 5 to 6 days. Venus in Cancer from 3:39 pm on is sentimental, warm, and somewhat possessive as well as protective of what we love. Cancer, you benefit from venus's visit in the next 4 weeks, attracting romance, positive attention and heart's desire.  The Moon conjunct Mars retro in Scorpio inspires passion, but is volatile and can stir up repressed anger or other difficult emotions too. It's not a good day to argue. Void of course Moon is 9:52 am to 9:34 pm EDT. The upside is that challenging things may go more smoothly than expected and something that might be a huge issue on another day gets shrugged off or overlooked.  The downside is forgetfulness or just putting your energy into the "wrong" or less worthwhile things (or people). Allow for a margin of error, leave earlier than you think you need to, and have good directions. We may find ourselves lost one way or another today. Saturn square Neptune is much bigger that just today, and quite complex. In a general sense, this aspect works to reveal what's untrue and irresponsible so it can be fixed.  Be careful not to lose your ambition, your ability to think and respond clearly, or your sanity.  Today's color is black.

Saturday: Sagittarius Moon

The Moon squares Neptune, meets Saturn and opposes Mercury in a continuation of the Saturn/Neptune square forecast of yesterday. The emotions of the situation arise. Sagittarius Moon is a bit philosophical and can struggle with intense emotion. Plus the Full Moon is Monday, still in Sagittarius. Sag, you, among others, could find this weekend very dramatic or thought provoking as well as complicated. Things long overdue take new shape.  Question what you hear and see since Neptune is retrograde and active.  Living in a dream world could be a problem.  Expand your perspective and listen to others, even if you're in disagreement.  Perspective and clarity are necessary now. Truths can be tough to face, and this Full Moon brings them to the surface.  Reconsider what you thought was real, as needed.  One big problem now is the tendency to just want to escape. You can't run from what's inside or outside you either. Avoid the quick remedy and look for solutions to old problems. Mercury is across from the Moon, initiating thought and planning.  Travels are busy and there may be lots of traffic or detours. It's good to have plan b or c to fall back on. Sunday: Sagittarius Moon square Jupiter, trine Uranus

The Moon appears Full and is exactly full at 7:02 am EDT on Monday, the Solstice.  In the USA, it's Father's Day, and an adventurous one. Travel will be busy and could be challenging so prepare for that. In general, I see this as a good weekend to prepare for anything, bring extra supplies, have a pet or child sitter in case you need to spend an extra night, .... It's a good day to put effort into making money or creating other abundance. See what resources are available. Expect to work for what you receive though. Do active or competitive things for Dad's day. A good, spontaneous game you haven't played lately may be a fun way to spend time together. Sagittarius is also the philosophy sign and interesting conversations happen today (but politics may be a topic of caution). World news could peak and be top of mind. Let's hope it's all peaceful. This weekend's New Moon is very present in new cycles and making changes.  The symbol for that Moon is two children reading and studying together. Team up to make the journey more fun and to create more understanding. Find someone whose skills or ideas complement yours and see the beauty in differences and common interests, both. Under Cancer Moon, recognize feelings, name your own emotions, and accept rather than escape them.  The Sun meets Venus in a super social, friendly, optimistic conjunction in Gemini. Tuesday: Cancer Moon

Problems are tough to move through now with those 2 planets retrograde so if something has to wait and isn't moving, maybe patience is the best way. Monday: Pisces to Aries Moon, Mercury trine Pluto

It's the kind of day where things sneak up on you. Pisces Moon has one aspect, with Mars retrograde, at 7:10 pm and is then void of course until 9:09 pm.  It could be a relaxing day. What we need to prepare for or attend to is feelings that simmer below the surface.  Mars in Scorpio is like bubbling lava and can overflow with any amount of stimulation.  Mercury and Pluto align for secret or quiet conversations with undercurrent of a different, yet also powerful, quality. Something is quietly decided without common knowledge.  Agreements may be made. There's a taste of conspiracy in the air.  There's a willingness to discuss what was considered taboo. It all makes for an interesting day where intuition plays an important role.  Aries Moon starts at 9:09 pm setting up a fast paced business week after Memorial Day in the USA. Wednesday: Void of course Moon

At 11:42 am EDT, the Moon is void of course in Aries until 10:46 pm. A tricky meeting between Moon and Uranus happens at 11:42 and Pluto is square the Aries Moon.  Emotional or reactive patterns are easily triggered.  Practice self control and awareness and take your time responding. Tuesday: Capricorn Moon, Venus in Gemini

At 5:45 am EDT, Venus moves to Gemini. It's time to get out of the house to enjoy events and people. Find pleasure in short trips or daily commutes. Update or upgrade your vehicle, be it two wheels or four.  Take scenic routes for a change.  Meet new friends and consider being part of a group or class. Gemini is a sign of learning too, so a course in an area of strong interest could also provide friendship and social occasions (something that doesn't feel like school preferably).  This is a flirtatious few weeks suited to dating.  Today, Venus also opposes Mars retrograde in Sagittarius. Be careful of flare ups in relationships. Avoid blaming, instigating, or pointless debates. Travel plans hit snags on days like this.  Aside from the Venus action that dominates the day, we have Capricorn Moon for the areas under construction, the systems that need to be revised or put in place, and what's often known as Mercury retrograde "cleanup". Wednesday: Capricorn Moon

Capricorn Moon is busy and influenced by several planets including Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto. It's a multi-task day. Areas highlighted include health, service for the greater good, and internal struggles or just plain introspection. Review where you've been, how you got to this point, and determine a next step.  Power plays are likely. If you suspect that's happening, you might do something to head it off. Check a couple of marks on the to-do list and feel progress. As the Moon wanes, there's a trimming of excess. Maybe today you let something go for now or for good because it's too much work, a drain, or not really a priority. Make outdoor projects happen on this earth sign day. Thursday: Jupiter square Saturn retrograde, Aquarius Moon

As Jupiter squares Saturn we reach a definitive turning point. The effects are broad and long term rather than being about the events of today. We could definitely see (or have just seen) global news about areas where progress is difficult though the world is being challenged to evolve and progress. Saturn is retrograde so stuck points may be obvious,  politically, internationally, in relationship to global business, and maybe in our personal lives. It kind of depends how much your chart reflects and aligns with Jupiter and Saturn's Virgo and Sagittarius placements right now.  All in all, on this mutable square, act in good faith, use your instincts to determine if other parties are doing the same.  I don't love this day for acting on something important since these two planets in this arrangement are reputed for bad timing. However, the effect is not just about today and the square has been influencing us for days to weeks and will continue to do so. Saturn is retrograde until August 13th, just for reference.  Aquarius Moon replaces the void Moon time at 10:27 am EDT. Aquarius has vision and engineering/design skills.  Venus, Mars and the Sun harmonize with the Moon so many things go well and happen easily.  That seems like a contradiction to the Jupiter/Saturn square. Use your instincts and question motives. If your sense is that the answer is yes (or no), say so and act accordingly.  Today's color is light blue.

Friday: Mars retrograde in Scorpio, Aquarius Moon

The Moon is in Aquarius. Take care of technical work and things that need to be restored or repaired. The Moon squares Mercury challenging us to make longer term plans and come up with solutions. Share possible ideas and keep an open mind. Saturn retrograde in Sagittarius aligns with Aquarius Moon. This could lead to rethinking and revising in order to integrate something unique or new with what's already been established. Brainstorm even if you're not ready for final decisions. Mars moves back into Scorpio and we'll retrace some feelings that are unresolved and involve anger, passion, bravery and willingness to take action.  It may be challenging not to move back into jealousy, vengefulness or resentment.  A retrograde can be considered a new chance for healing, though it may not be easy. The Aquarius Moon aligns with Uranus for a wild and wacky day. Maybe it'll be fun,  maybe it's a good idea to be a bit cautious. Uranus is in fiery Aries and Aquarius is an air sign, feeding fire. Precautions with fire are always a good idea. Spontaneous fun and friendly gatherings are favored. At 4:19 pm EDT the Moon is void of course briefly until 5:06 pm and then in water sign Pisces. The Moon makes a wide variety of aspects today. Pisces Moon is generally a creative and emotionally sensitive time. Moods may change through out the day and evening.  Moon opposite Jupiter in Virgo could lead to excess. Think moderation.  Moon square Saturn retrograde is an unstable influence. Things may seem to be "all over the place" today. At least with so much mutable sign action, the negative can be transformed with effort and willingness.  Plant, garden, play or hang out by the water.  Soothing influences and environments rule. Today's color is blue.

Monday: Virgo to Libra Moon

The Virgo Moon aligns with the Sun, increasing productivity and confidence. It's a void Moon from 5:20 am so keep tasks routine and paced.  People should be in sociable moods and willing to help. Ask a favor if needed, but make sure it's not forgotten in the void of course transition. Lateness could be an issue today. Libra Moon at 1:33 pm aligns with Mars retro in Sagittarius tonight. Retrograde reconnections and old stuff comes up and may be resolved. Be very fair and try to be less judgmental and consider the complete picture.  Today's color is lavender.

Tuesday: Libra Moon

Libra Moon, sign of justice, connects with Saturn retrograde. Some of the serious business of life, law, and responsibility come up. Intensity heightens. Judgment calls will be made. It's still a better time for temporary fixes and trial periods, though some long term decisions are likely. Leave room for adjustments as you see how things evolve.  Today's color is black.

Wednesday: Libra Moon

Libra Moon is void of course at 11:23 am EDT until 2:29 am on Thursday. Adjust for your time zone. Do business and have meetings before the void Moon starts in order to increase chances of follow through. Many things are forgotten during the Libra v.o.c. Moon. Uranus and Pluto influence the Libra Moon, and this isn't always easy. Spontaneous trouble shooting may be needed. Inner thoughts and feelings preoccupy. Try not to let them get you down and avoid negative judgments of your self as well as others. It's free-ing to let go of old patterns, if possible. Today's color is indigo blue.

Thursday: Scorpio Moon

The Moon moves to Scorpio at 2:29 am EDT.  Plant, fish, create abundance. Follow your passions. Tame obsessive thoughts and tendencies. Get fixed on something good. Live and let live. Privacy is important today. Check privacy settings. Be conservative with money, but do something with it. Invest wisely with money and time.  Carve out some time for yourself. Full Moon warms up for Saturday. Maroon is today's color.

Friday: Scorpio Moon, Sun moves to Gemini

It's Gemini time as of 10:36 am EDT. This is the cusp. The Moon opposes Mercury retrograde and something is back up for discussion or trying again.  Converse about it, and save the final word for Monday or later.  Interesting and insightful thoughts enter for contemplation and action to be taken soon. Mercury retro ends on Sunday and it'll be a better time for deciding. Sun in Gemini makes way for venus in a few days. Taurus, enjoy your Venus days with who and what you love and cherish and reach out for what you need while the planet of harmony favors you most. Yellow is today's color.

Saturday: Sagittarius Full Moon

I see this as a Full Moon of first attempts that may take another month or so. Two Full Moons in Sagittarius, in a row, with 4 retrograde planets this first time around, indicates exploration of a good plan including education, a move, or something else that takes you places. However, Mars retro is next to this Full Moon and Mercury is across from it.  Let things evolve. Give freedom and have some for yourself. Avoid pressure. That may be tough since Full Moons intensify what exists, but buy yourself time if that's what your intuition says.  Open your mind without fixing it on one thing. Sagittarius Full Moon is mutable and that means movement and change. Many things will be in process and need some more time to sort out. Truths emerge, whether easy or ready or not. In the absence of anything too heated or overpowering, enjoy and be reasonably adventurous. Today's color is white.

Sunday: Mercury Direct

Mercury stations at 9:20 am. This is not a predictable day. Sun opposes Mars and Full Moon is still present. Try to keep expectations and emotions in check. Feel what you feel but avoid spilling it out into drama or events that affect other people. In other words, don't take it out on the world.  Practice patience. Be kind-to yourself and others. There's a lot going on and some understanding goes a long way.  Moon meets Saturn and brings up real, pressing life stuff. Re-read yesterday's for more about today. Wear purple.

Monday: Jupiter Direct in Virgo

Jupiter is retrograde for about 50% of your life, so in a way there's nothing unusual about the period of time we just went through since fall. If you were able to learn, grow, expand upon something, revive a project or relationship, or finally connect with the health advice or diagnosis you needed, wonderful! Those things may all move with more fluidity and less effort now. Of course, 4 other planets appear to be moving backwards in the heavens (yes, it's really an illusion and illusion can be a problem now). But overall, if you're a Virgo, work in service to others, are manifesting your own life purpose, and trying to attract more prosperity and make healthy changes, Jupiter direct is a little bonus to help keep the flow going. Jupiter turns direct today at 8:14 am EDT in Virgo.

The Moon is void of course in Gemini, a scattered and spacey time when mental challenges are tough. Relaxing, exercising and focusing on organization are good ways to spend the morning. At !:24 pm EDT, the Moon ends a 12 hour void time and shifts to water sign Cancer. The Sun meets Mercury, and it's time to revise a statement or be willing to change your strongly held opinion. People will speak ab out their deepest, most firmly entrenched beliefs. Venus aligns with Neptune for romantic gestures and creative endeavors.  Today's color is white.

Tuesday: Cancer Moon

The planets are very communicative today, with a wide variety of influences. Moon opposes Pluto in a monthly pattern that requires acknowledging emotion even if you cannot act on the feeling.  Family and home are priorities.  Venus forms a lovely trine to Jupiter in Taurus/Virgo, enhancing love and relationship. The Moon aligns with Venus and Mercury retro, turning attention back to things or people you care for deeply, even if there's been estrangement or a leaving.  It may be only in the mind that you experience any of this. There's no need to act unless you're ready and willing. Sentiment is strong today, and reminiscing will be natural.  Today's color is pink.

Wednesday: Cancer to Leo Moon

In the wee hours, the Moon and Sun align, then Uranus adds impact from Aries. Check emails and messages right away in case of last minute changes. At 3:34 am EDT the Moon is void of course until 5:32 pm EDT. Be gentle and take your time with things today. No pushing or coercing. Tonight's Leo Moon inspires some fun, competition and action. Play games, go out and see friends.  Wear orange.

Thursday: Leo Moon, Mercury trine Pluto

Warming Leo Moon aligns with Saturn and Mars retrograde in Sagittarius. Old business can result in headaches and heartaches, but this is a revision time and Leo Moon adds optimism and a can-do attitude. Some things will require more effort now, including travel arrangements, long distance business and getting shipping timely and right. Sagittarius, you may be experiencing this quite a lot. For all of us, patience and warmth go a long way. Where might you take a more easy, playful or amused attitude rather than focusing on complaints and frustrations. Events and decisions take their own sweet time now. Mercury retrograde and Pluto align and we can be productively reflective and thoughtful today, possibly seeing things in a different light. Awareness can be a quiet, solitary process. Give yourself time to think or to not think about anything at all and let fresh ideas move in on their own, when you're not trying so hard. Friday: Mercury conjunct Venus in Taurus, Venus trine Pluto

Reconnect with the past. It'll happen unintentionally too. This looks like a day of reunions, forgiveness, overdue conversations, and chance encounters.  Live for the day, enjoy reconciliations and getting together, but keep promises for another time. See how things go. Be caring and genuine. The morning is best for shopping or business transactions and meetings. The afternoon void of course Moon is 1:02 pm through 1:52 am EDT on Friday. Have some fun. Aspects are quite good and maybe this will be a loving and lucky day for you! Today's color is yellow.

Saturday: Virgo Moon

Virgo Moon begins at 1:52 am, and the Moon squares Mars in Sagittarius. Mars is retro and the details of things, like travels, tests or contracts come up for some problem solving.  It may be inconvenient and some will over react, triggered by Mars.  Otherwise, do practical things like clean, organize, and sort. Be careful you don't toss something you'll wish you held onto.  Take a grounded approach. Today's color is brown.

Sunday: Virgo Moon conjunct Jupiter

Virgo Moon meets Jupiter, now direct, in their first encounter like this since late summer. There are many other aspects, but this is a day of growth, prosperity, attention to both details and the big picture. Envision and manifest.  Mercury retrograde is in harmony with the Moon, bringing up past personal or work things for new resolution and understanding.  Today's color is green.
