Monday: Libra Moon

The Moon in Libra and Leo Sun are in harmony today. Make a favorable impression. Virgo, Cancer, and Scorpio may use this to advantage in career and work. Tuesday: Mercury retrograde trine Jupiter

The Moon is in Libra with a mix of aspects. Mercury retrograde surprises are in the air. Continue to communicate carefully and clearly to avoid retrograde confusion. Mercury and Jupiter combine for the most positive benefits of a retrograde day, as Jupiter in Gemini shines on business and educational plans and travel.  Move into new things gently, not impulsively. Trial basis is great now! Enjoy reconnecting, get back to unfinished business, and aim for short term resolutions. It's a good time to investigate things you want to buy or begin in August and beyond. Gather information.  When the Moon is in Libra, fairness issues often come up. See both sides of the story and try to be understanding rather than judgmental as the Moon and Mars meet. Today's color is red.

Wednesday: Void of Course Moon in Libra

With a long void of course Moon, it's best not to overbook or push too hard today.  The morning is best for taking care of what's important and has bigger implications. Even then, remember Mercury retrograde cautions and duplicate, double check and make sure you're understood.  At 11:22 am and until 10:29 pm we have a void of course Moon. Work on simple things or  relax and socialize. Mercury and Uranus instigate spontaneous plans. That could be forced as in a cancellation or delay, but best case scenario, we just enjoy last minute invitations or ideas.  Tonight the Moon moves to Scorpio at 10:29 pm.  Reorganizing might be appealing, and the next couple of days should be better for concentration. The night takes on a serious tone. Mean what you say. Scorpio Moon time means things are not easily forgotten.  Wear maroon.

Thursday: Scorpio Moon

The Scorpio Moon moves quickly void of course at 11:38 am (it's as if she says okay enough about business! Let's not overdo it while Mercury is retrograde!) Slowing down and not overextending ourselves is a good plan.  The Moon squares both the Sun in Leo and Mercury before then, indicating stubborn issues and persistent attitudes. It may be hard to compromise or give in.  Creative work, perhaps a solo project, is favored. Taking our time with things makes sense. Don't pressure others or allow yourself to be pressured either.  Tonight is best spent working on a project with no timetable or just relaxing. The trend will continue tomorrow. Wear black.

Friday: Void of course Moon in Scorpio

Today is probably best suited to vacation time. The Scorpio Moon void of course and Mercury retrograde urge us to slow down, think and reflect, and prepare for what's next, but without hurry.  Catching up on routine things and what was put aside is great, but make sure you won't forget the details of your plan or where you store things if you're cleaning and reorganizing.  Vacation days spend on the boat or the beach work well with the Moon in a water sign. It's best to stay out of debates and sensitive topics if possible.  There's little point to arguing, being stubborn or trying to accomplish too much.  Today's color is indigo blue.

Saturday: Sagittarius Moon

The Sagittarius Moon is happily at play with planets in the other fire and air signs. This helps things fall together easily today even if there's no solid plan or things are changing with Mercury retrograde in Leo. Mercury and the Sun meet for a very Leo type day; expressive and fun. Take in a performance or get a good game going! Choose an adventure and go where the action is! A field trip is a great idea. We'll be inspired to be outdoors, travel, enjoy a bonfire or camping, or just take a day to explore somewhere new or revisit a place that's changed over time! Sunday: Sagittarius Moon

The Moon shows Sagittarius's changeable nature today, in particular with relationships, from love to friendship. Venus opposite the Moon pushes for freedom and flexibility. Partners who connect on intellectual ground and are willing to yield or allow the other some independence will do best with this opposition. Rigidity and possessiveness will cause friction or fleeing!  Mars and Saturn in Libra are in harmony with the Moon, reminding us to get some work done and remember responsibilities or promises made. Monday: Gemini to Cancer Moon

This is 4th quarter Moon phase and Mercury is retrograde. Noth indicate plenty of rethinking and a look at what's working well and what could be improved upon. The New Moon Thursday is a good time to start a trial basis or temporary plan. Reevaluate after Mercury retrograde ends August 8th. The Gemini Moon and Saturn align for mediation and intentional discussion today. Take the word of friends and siblings seriously. There's a tendency to be sarcastic today as well, and with Mercury retrograde we can be easily misunderstood. Word things carefully in conversation and in writing. The Moon is void of course from 6:56 am to 8:31 pm EST and then shifts to Cancer until Thursday. Cancer Moon directs us to what we consider the safety zone. We'll be sentimental and tend to look back in time over the next couple of days. Today's color is black.

Tuesday: Mars Squares Pluto and the Moon

The Cancer Moon's defensive nature is called into play today as warrior Mars in Libra pushes emotional buttons. Retreat could be the best plan for now. Mercury is retrograde and it's not the ultimate time for confrontation or solutions unless they are temporary. It might not be easy, but try to keep tempers and reactions in check. Avoid physicals risks, gambles, and other chances that could have consequences with Mars very active today. Negotiating emotional, sensitive situations is today's big challenge. Mars square to Pluto can be accident prone and leave us feeling vulnerable tonight. Take care of yourself and each other. Go easy. Wear white.

Wednesday: Cancer Moon

This is the eve of the New Moon, and today's Cancer Moon squares Saturn which can put us out of sorts about selfish behavior or obligations we need to fulfill. Mars opposite Uranus can be angry or accident prone. Tread lightly, be reserved if you're feeling uncertain, and get a hold on emotional reactions. Follow through on commitments is a good idea. Trust your intuition and stay away from what doesn't feel safe or people who don't seem trustworthy. This is also a day of consideration and rethinking before tomorrow's New Moon. Plan fresh starts and new beginnings with flexibility to change your mind built in. Tonight, play it safe in every way. Wear black.

Thursday: New Moon in Cancer

The New Moon in Cancer is at 12:24 am EST, and then the Moon is void of course for about 6 hours. Overnight, use caution and care. We'll tend to be reactive, moody, and lack judgment with Mars opposite Uranus and the void Moon. Wait out decisions and avoid initiating anything from a debate to a relationship decision. The Leo Moon moves in at 6:13 am and this part of the week is prime for revisting old business, running into people from the past, and retracing steps from the last couple of weeks. The Moon and Jupiter work to buoy our spirits if the Cancer Moon was sad or rough around the edges. Come out of your shell a bit and see if there's someone helpful, fun or inspirational to guide you. Friday: Moon meets Mercury retrograde in Leo

Welcome to the most retrograde of the retrograde days this season! The Moon and Mercury meet in Leo for dramatic reunions, unexpected reconnections, a return to places that once played a big part in your summers (of life in general), and potentially communication mishaps and misunderstandings. Leo is expressive and we might shoot our mouths off too readily. Try not to make promises you won't keep. Enjoy life by revisting childhood places or playing with kids, or just getting into fun and games. It's a great time for a party and other social plans. Do have some flexibility about time and circumstances and you'll avoid frustration. Accept invitations. Wear orange.

Saturday: Virgo Moon

The day starts with void of course Leo Moon from 1:17 am to 1:24 pm. Take care of significant matters carefully with Mercury retrograde and void of course Moon. Saturn says there may be reason to look objectively, act in fairness, and be willing to shoulder some work in the morning. After 1:24 pm the Virgo Moon opposes Neptune and balancing work and analytical tasks with some daydreaming or good, healthy escape from reality with music or a movie or creative pastimes is favored.  This is the last night of Cancer Sun and Cancer birthdays and a nice, easygoing celebration trumps anything overdone tonight.  Wear navy blue.

Sunday: Sun to Leo

The height of summer begins as the Sun moves to Leo at 6:01 am. The Virgo Moon squares both Venus and Jupiter in Gemini. Calls for some assistance will be common, and we might feel stuck if we don't have the right supporting players.  Keep communication clear since these are both Mercury ruled signs, prone to the effects of retrograde Mercury. Be wary of misinformation, exaggeration and relationship or friendship strain.  Mercury aligns with Mars in Leo and Libra continuing the reconnections, but today old injustices or slights may come up. If something is unresolved this could be a second chance to come to peace with a situation.  The Virgo Moon has some work ethic today, and physical activity is a good way to work out any stress. Virgo needs to move, and with the Moon here avoid too much mental/intellectual work or overthinking! Wear gold.

Monday: Aries Moon

After a long void of course Moon, the Moon is in firestarter Aries from 8:14 am on. If the weekend was slow or lazy, or even easygoing or romantic, expect a shift today as the Moon opposite Mars in Libra looks aggrressively for resolution and calls out anything unjust. Though that issue of fairness may be skewed or misplaced since Aries Moon is first about self interest. There could be whining and complaining as well as confrontation today. Some Libra objectivity is called for. Try to step back and see the whole picture. In the evening the Moon works well with Jupiter in Gemini followed by a square to Pluto in Capricorn. Socially the potential is good, but in personal affairs watch the tendency toward gossip, hiding relevant information, and blaming someone else for what's wrong. A light, friendly night is the best plan. Late night, keep your head up and take care of each other as Uranus combines with the Moon in a burst of who knows what! Today's color is red.

Tuesday: Moon conjunct Uranus in Aries

If you're hoping for a big shake up and a change of status, role or routine, the Moon and Uranus may be just what you're looking for. However, for many it might mean too much unexpected change or chaos. Nervous energy can be the result, and thinking on our feet may be the only way. Quick reactions are in the forecast. Mercury and Venus reach out from Gemini and Leo with helpful, upbeat, and maybe inspirational energy. This is great if you work in communication, media, entertainment and the arts. Tonight the Moon squares the Sun in Cancer and if you're struggling with personal problems or plans, it could feel like stalemate or no win. We are in the Mercury retrograde zone though it doesn't officially begin until Saturday night, so be cautious rather than aggressive and take your time with decisions. Wear yellow.

Wednesday: Void of Course Moon

The Moon is void of course in Aries from 5:23 am EST until 7:30 pm. The Moon opposite Saturn near daybreak can add a very intense note to the day. It may be the day you make a well though out move. Libra and Aries may do that in terms of commitments and promises. Virgo and Pisces, think seriously about how you spend your money and any business you engage in. With out those major matters on your plate, today is meant for easygoing activities. Stay out of unproductive debates. Walk away from trouble which could accelerate more easily and have serious implications. Play a good, fair game! Integrity would be a good idea to strive for and live by (always but particularly on days like this). Tonight the Moon moves to Taurus at 7:30 pm and the message is simplify! Thursday: Taurus Moon

The Taurus Moon is geared toward constructive work. The Moon aligns with Pluto in Capricorn. One effect is ambition. Revisit goals and see if the steps you're taking are effective. Gemini may feel quieter and more comtemplative today. Cancer relationships are in the forefront, even if it's only on your mind and not in your actions yet, Cancer. Neptune in Pisces encourages some daydreaming, which can in fact be the first steps in planning. We are close to Mercury retrograde, and it's a good time to make copies and backups of whatever is important to you. Tonight, the Moon squares Mercury in the passionate yet stubborn fixed signs, Taurus and Leo. Friday: Mercury Retrograde in Leo

Saturday: Mercury retrograde in Leo

Mercury retrograde begins at 10:16 pm officially, though this week may have plenty of confusion & lack of clarity already. We'll be retracing steps from the past week in August when the retrograde ends on August 8th. Back up everything and keep duplicate copies of anything that could be important later on. Mercury retrograde in Leo can have the happy effect of returning to places and activities we loved in the past yet maybe didn't make time for recently. We reconnect with friends and family too. It's time to return to feelings or activities of youth, of past summers, and to entertain and be entertained. It's a beautiful season for reunions and other celebrations that bring people back together. The Moon is in Gemini from 8:26 am EST through the weekend. Today Mercury is in harmony with Venus for forgiveness, reuniting, and getting back in touch even if that happens randomly. It's a very nice day socially though our brains may be scattered or frazzled from over-thinking. Wear yellow.

Sunday: Sun square Saturn

The Sun squares Saturn overnight in Cancer/Libra. Issues of fairness in the household, with family members, and a tug between emotion and objectivity is likely. The Gemini Moon will soften the day though, in harmony with Venus, Mercury, and Uranus. There's a friendly, fun aspect to the day that may help us put problems aside for a while. Enjoy the company and good spirits, and reconnection with others that you did or did not expect since Mercury is now retrograde in Leo. Monday: Full Moon warmup

The Moon is in Sagittarius first, and Saturn gives nods from Libra for settlements, finalizing matters from business to education, travel and legal matters involving two parties. Full Moons bring peaks and conclusions. Saturn indicates serious, thoughtful decisions. The Moon is only void of course briefly from 6:21 to 6:51 pm EST and then moves to our Full Moon sign, Capricorn. The Moon is square to Mars and in harmony with Neptune in the evening. Mars last night in Virgo requires we put some work or time in. The Capricorn Moon and Neptune in Pisces are a good mix if you're doing creative work or adding artistic touches to an otherwise practical project. A near Full Moon feeling that something is pending, even if it's undefined, pervades the night. Practical solutions and detached emotions will help keep us out of anxious states and pointless repetition of what does not work. Involve yourself in something constructive. Wear blue.

Tuesday: Full Moon in Capricorn

Saturday: Pisces Moon

The Pisces Moon engages with a number of planets today, making for variety and change. That can mean changes of mood since Pisces Moon connects with emotions. Monday: Saturn direct in Libra, Mercury in Leo, Jupiter square Neptune

Saturn stations direct today and soon we can expect improvements and progress in partnership and legal matters as well as situations involving older relatives. If you've experience any of those as stuck and unresolved, initiate action that could bring you closer to resolutions and agreements in the days and weeks just ahead. The Moon is in Virgo, but the story revolves more around Saturn, Mercury's move to Leo at 10:24 pm EST, and Jupiter square to Neptune. In regard to the latter, do not try to do too much too fast and avoid the tendency to avoid or exaggerate problems. A practical, realistic attitude will cut down on drama and feeling overwhelmed. Small bits of progress may be better than all or nothing today. Mercury's move to Leo pus emphasis on education, teaching, children, theater and entertainment. If sanity seemed elusive during the twists and turns of the last couple of days, today is the day to reign it in. Virgo Moon time this morning includes a meeting with Mars, activating our analytical minds. Allow for flexibility if you're trying something new, like a schedule or routine for Aries or a new employment situation for Leo, Sagittarius or Aquarius. Settle in gently but with enthusiasm for what's new, while the Moon is void of course from 6:53 am to 1:15 pm EST. The Moon shifts to Libra then, and is in harmony with Mercury in Leo and Jupiter in Gemini, assisting with business, improved communication, and even shopping for practical and technical items. Thursday: Moon in Scorpio

The Libra Moon is void of course from 4:22 am to 4:32 pm EST. Today is meant to be taken easy, with calm and logic. The Moon meets Saturn early, often bringing serious topics to the forefront. Saturn is direct now so aim for final resolutions. If you have doubts, wait out the day for tomorrow with a solid Scorpio Moon. Vacation-like activities are favored today. The Moon moves to Scorpio at 4:32 pm and works well with Neptune in Pisces, drawing us to water locations and sports and to music and other creative pursuits. Friday: Sun opposite Pluto

The Moon is in Scorpio, and the Sun opposes Scorpio's ruler, Pluto and also squares Uranus. The Sun's actions with those two planets looks quite challenging. Risk taking or pushing the limits will cause repercussions, so make sure you're prepared to deal with results of confrontation, aggression or even strong assertive behavior. There's a reactive tendency today. The Scorpio Moon works with Pluto pushing forth undercurrents and in some cases bringing secrets out in the open. Expect intensity, and if you're lucky that may come in the form of passion. Loyalty is important today, as in don't breach trust or incite jealousy. Today's color is maroon.

Saturday: Moon in Scorpio /Sagittarius

The Scorpio Moon may have us holding on to feelings from romantic love to grudges. Things may be hard to break free of or lighten up about today. If it's good, great! If it's causing angst, be careful that Mars weighing in with the Scorpio Moon doesn't let anger take over in the form of lashing out. Mars is the aggressor and Scorpio Moon feels deeply. Together they may make it hard to hold back. The Moon moves to Sagittarius at 6:04 pm and squares Neptune in Pisces for a very changeable yet more free spirited night. Be flexible with plans and enjoy some adventure. Trying something new is favored tonight. Break out of any holding patterns and forget about one of those biggest concerns for a while. The Gemini Moon is buoyed by a meeting with Venus last night. Good feelings and seeing the positive side of people and of change is in the forecast. Jupiter moves to Gemini for a year long stay. Between now and June 26, 2013, Jupiter shines on education, media, and communication.
