Monday
Turn the page to a new month and a waning Moon now in Virgo until 7:32 pm. We are still in the wake of yesterday's Full Moon so climaxes and conclusions continue.  Act with best judgment before 12:38 pm EST when the Moon moves void of course until evening.  The Moon is opposite Venus and Uranus in Pisces and Mercury changes signs, all pointing toward shift, change and flow in new directions.  This may mean separating from someone or something you love and some of what happens today will be unlike what we expect.  The need to be flexible with each other is very strong!  Ultimatums should be avoided!  This afternoon do productive but relaxing chores or physical workouts.  Virgo has nervous anxiety and you might feel it in the belly or brain!  Tonight the Moon moves to Libra, is in harmony with Mars and approaches Saturn.  This can kick your butt if you're avoiding or slacking.  The Moon and Mars also combine for good times socially.  Leo, Libra, and Sagittarius might like tonight's events most!  Wear lavender today.

Tuesday
The Moon is in Libra square to Pluto in Capricorn and meeting Saturn, the zodiac's disciplinarian.  We might not like some of this! Today is about facing facts and realities, and in some cases that will mean dredging up the past.  Saturn is relentless in asking that we cut ties with what's not serving us anymore-that includes people, habits, and other circumstances too.  It's not easy even when you're eliminating something destructive! With the Moon waning though, it's a getting rid of time!  Take a deep breath, look at the positive side and leave a bad relationship.  Aries and Libra, this is especially true for you now.  Virgo and Pisces, this may have to do with business partnership or someone you're always giving or lending to with no repayment.  Cancer, home and family situations are up for some negotiation or rethinking now.  Tonight the Libra Moon makes it a good night for a date or time with a best friend.  Mercury now in Pisces is sympathetic and sensitive to change. The Libra Moon works with Neptune in Aquarius relaxing things a bit today.  The energy for friendships, collaboration, and socializing warms up more than yesterday when personal and business concerns may have weighed heavily.  Take a look around and say hello to someone new, have lunch with a friend or a bunch, and establish collegial relationships too.  It's also a good day for imagination, forward thinking, and vision.  Finding people who complement your strengths is a good idea!  The Moon is void of course from 3:44 pm until 9:11 pm Est then moves to Scorpio. The night feels more intense than the day, and relationships are particularly likely to heat up as the Moon squares Mars and Venus meets Uranus.  Tread somewhat lightly unless you're up for a real confrontation tonight.  If something's been brewing and hasn't peaked, tonight the conditions are right for a big explosion of almost any kind.  Wear maroon.

The Moon is in Scorpio in a happy flow with Pisces planets including Jupiter and Venus. This helps our outlook, inspires, and lends some focus.  Scorpio Moon is very passionate and Pisces a romantic sign. Love and attraction are piqued but may be unrealistic or deceptive.  Scorpio Moon isn't necessarily honest and open and could be playing games! Taurus is one sign that needs to watch out for this! Aquarius, you may want to play a different role today and change someone's opinion of you.  Scorpio you might be feeling possessive or overly attached, especially where romantic interests are concerned.  It is a creative day though so channel energy into art, music, writing, and making things beautiful!  It's not a very good day for a business deal even thought there's no void Moon until 11:36 pm EST. Neptune puts the truth in question and the Scorpio Moon tends to hide real feelings. The Moon moves to fiery Sagittarius at 2:36 am and is in harmony with Mars and Saturn early on.  This helps light a fire for what we need to do. Take care of promises and obligations you've made with a smile and a sense of adventure. Be in the moment. A spoon full of sugar makes the medicine go down easier as they say.  If you're free and clear of responsibilities, it's a great day to hang out, play hard, travel and get out of your usual routine.  The night brings two squares in the zodiac and it might be hard to agree on things.  Sagittarius and Pisces may want to change things up at the last minute.  One tricky thing tonight is the urge to bail on plans for a better offer, which probably will not go over well or be easy to explain.  It might be best to make last minute plans anyway.  Leo, Aquarius, Libra, Sagittarius, and Aries will probably like the Sag Moon best.  Wear red.

Full Moon in Virgo Sunday February 28th

A Full Moon in Virgo is particular, fussy and discriminating. With information overload and questions of accuracy and truth, this may not be such a bad thing as the month ends.  Ask questions and clarify things.  Communication is a big issue on the Full Moon weekend this month!  Go ahead and distrust a situation that doesn't feel right.  However, trying to control things is a waste of energy since the Full Moon opposite Uranus guarantees the unexpected and Jupiter and the Sun reassure outcomes to a great degree!  Virgo has trouble going with the flow, but planets in Pisces encourage us to do exactly that!  Pay attention to details but don't sweat changes of plan and schedule.  Avoid senseless mistakes and make sure what you say is really what they heard! Monday

We'll have to work for what we get today.  Powers of persuasion will be helpful in both personal and business relationships.  Build your story or your argument accordingly!  Issues up for discussion include travel and anything that expands on what currently exists. Whether the cash or support is available is a big factor for Taurus, Scorpio, Gemini and Pisces especially.  In relationships Sagittarius, Gemini, Pisces and Virgo may feel negotiation is needed.  Be tactful with personal problems and don't blow things out of proportion.  Remember today that things are all relative and your obstacle might not be as big as you think.  Virgo and Gemini be aware of how you're viewed by others and work hard for a worthwhile recognition if that's a possibility for you.  Tonight is full of duality. Use your imagination today.  Capricorn, Pisces and Taurus, outcomes may be better than you expect! Ask for what you need.  The Moon is void of course from 12:29 pm to 6:29 pm and we are likely to be unusually indecisive. Consider that a good thing since it's better not to make any big moves this afternoon.  Relaxing, writing, and working creatively is favored and so is just socializing with friends.  The Moon is in Cancer tonight and moodiness is likely as the Moon squares Saturn. We won't be too happy with obligations including having to work or any task that requires discipline.  Fairness issues are a challenge too, and Aries may feel this at home while for Gemini and Sagittarius its more about dividing and sharing money or resources equally. The Cancer Moon is pleased with the planets in Pisces! It's like having a bunch of good friends to support your endeavors for the day!  Venus, the Sun, and Jupiter all in Pisces make it a water sign's day (that's Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio), and as long as you're comfortable with the realm of feelings and emotions you can make the most of this! It's a day for reconciling, empathizing, understanding and in some cases feeling each other's pain. Emotions are enhanced, but with most of the universe in harmony it should be the good stuff more than the bad. If you don't want to feel anything you better hide today! We start feeling the warm-up to this weekend's Full Moon! Uranus and the Moon meet to startle us out of any Cancer Moon stupor today. Expect the unexpected! It will be hard to anticipate how things will shake out.  With all the emotional energy in the air there could be some drama!  This afternoon the Moon is void of course making it hard to reach solid decisions. It might be best to wait though at the same time some quick thinking and action may be necessary! Try not to make permanent decisions or promises.  The v.o.c Moon lasts from12:48 to 8:08 pm when the Moon shifts to Leo! (weird for Leos like me born on 8-08!) Tonight the Moon meets Mars for explosive fun and over the top energy! Just put it to good use!  If there's a problem it's most likely to be temper tantrums or selfish behavior.  Aries, you're tempted to take big risks!  Leo, you're fired up and everyone better stay out of your way(at least that's how you see it!).  Sagittarius, any grass may seem greener than the one you tread on now and you might be planning your next getaway.  Aquarius, if you've been waiting to see when you'll turn up in this forecast, it's now!  This part of the week activates relationship, commitment, partnership and love.  It might not be all roses but you'll deal with things now.  If it is all roses the chemistry is strong and opposites may attract! The Moon will be full on Sunday night, and deadlines and conclusions are forecast now.  Saturn helps harness our energy from the sign Libra.  Buckle down and get some work done today even though the Leo Moon would rather play.  Find some balance and do both!  Saturn also cuts down on Leo's usual extravagance.  There's a little bit of willpower and structure that helps with diets and other good habits we're trying to stick with.  Still, Leo likes fun and attention and the need to act like a kid wins at some point today.  Today the oldest (Saturn) and the youngest (Leo Moon)L in the family may take charge or need to be the center of attention.  For the rest of us, meet a deadline or expectation, then party! That's the plan.  Wear purple.

Saturday
The Moon is nearly Full, in Leo today and Virgo tonight. The Moon changes signs at 7:52 pm and is void of course from 3:15 pm until that time.   Avoid shopping then. Take an afternoon nap today! Leo and Virgo especially need the recharge this afternoon!  The Moon is opposing Mercury and Neptune and communication may be very unclear and downright deceitful in some cases. Leo and Aquarius watch out for that in love relationships (love/hate?).  If you've been all fired up and going full steam the Virgo Moon attempts to settle you down tonight. Work to accomplish something worthwhile this weekend from taxes to papers that need writing.  Information overload and questions of truth and accuracy come up today.  It's a good day to blow off some steam at the gym, yoga studio or b-ball court. Sunday
The Moon is Full in Virgo at 11:38 am EST. The Moon is opposite Jupiter and the Sun in conjunction! Jupiter and the Sun together push for freedom and fun, generosity and creativity from the sign Pisces!  The Virgo Moon can be discriminating and critical, but the Sun/Jupiter conjunction balances this out with an "everything's going to be ok" message. Though this Full Moon is bound to bring unexpected news and surprises, it should be fairly easy to adjust accordingly.  Be agreeable and go with the flow and you'll feel better. Balking and trying to control things won't get you far, but Virgo might try and Libra might feel crazy in the head with all that's happening.  Aries and Libra, taking care of yourself is extra important for you during this Full Moon when you're a bit vulnerable to whatever is going around.  This can be an awesome day if you don't get too worked up about what's happening with or without you.  Today's color is white!

Monday
The universe is full of conjunctions right now-that's a meeting of heavenly bodies!  This puts alot of things in sync and is a good time to focus your energies, get on the same page with someone, clarify things, and bring it all together! If there's a downside it may feel one sided.  The conjunctions have been happening in Aquarius and Pisces, and after last night's Moon meeting with Jupiter today should feel optimistic. We're riding the wave of Saturday night's Aquarius New Moon, so it's a favorable time to take action, put plans in place and go forward with changes.  Aquarius is the sign of global and collaborative energy, friendship and community. Finding a group you belong with is a great idea today, so attend a meeting or practice and consider joining.  A new group of friends or coworkers can refresh your social life.  Expand upon the people you know and network or hang out with.  We have two more conjunctions tomorrow, but for today two sets of planets play tag team. Two more meetings in Pisces rule this day! Opinions will be strong especially when dealing with solutions to long standing problems.  There's a question of how to approach things today.  Try to listen rather that think you're automatically right.  All in all this is a good day for getting things accomplished. Taurus and Aquarius are fixed signs and the tendency might be to shut out someone else's feelings or ideas.  Keeping two strong personalities apart is not a bad idea. The New Moon in Aquarius arrives tonight at 9:51 pm. This is a big day for planning and rethinking. Get ready for new things and tie up loose ends if the timing is right.  Being free and clear of any aggravation or unfinished business will feel great! Subconscious wishes come into play!  It's Valentine's Day and Venus is in a good spot for romance!  Jupiter is luck and generosity!  Even Valentine skeptics may find that today is pleasurable! If not in love, creativity, friendship and good times in general are favored.  It's not a good day to have to get work done!  The Sun and Neptune also create an air of romance and fantasy in the sign Aquarius!  The universe is in harmony today with a big concentration in Aquarius and Pisces which is also good for Virgo and Leo in love and Libra and Scorpio social and love lives!  Be decadent, have fun, don't get caught up in what you think should be and instead pursue what you love and wish for!  It's also a good day for music, films, and the arts! Monday
The Moon is in Virgo. Neatness counts.  There's fussy energy in the forecast, but your meticulous eye and attention to detail may pay off. In fact it's a good day for accounting.  Go over the fine points and get the project to perfection even if that means revisiting it again and again.  Virgo and Aries will want to take charge and feel that something is at stake.  Pisces is likely to feel nagged and complained to.  Taurus the perfectionism may drive you out of your mind today.  The Moon is in harmony with Mercury so go forth with projects and plans and pu things on the calendar with solid dates and times. Mercury is still in Capricorn helping us with ambition, job hunting, and organization in general.  Capricorn you may want to pack, arrange, and have things tidy and in order, and you're one of the most favored to be making big future plans now or getting ready for a move.  Tonight the Moon is opposite Uranus and that always stirs the pot with unexpected ingredients.  Could be a little bit more spicy or bitter than you wanted.  Keep some flexibility for last minute situations tonight.  The Moon is void of course from 11:17 pm to 8:42 am. Tuesday
The Moon is waning and meets Saturn in Libra. Making decisions about what stays and what goes is in the forecast. Saturn retrograde is urging that we cut the fat and let go of unproductive situations, relationships and outgrown clothes or habits.  This would be a good day to quit smoking, but on another level you may decide a haircut is in order.  The haircut could be more to simplify your routine than because you think it's more stylish. We're making the practical decision today. You get the idea.  Now Libra Moon time doesn't mean it's easy to make up your mind, in fact being on the fence is natural today. Make lists of pros and cons and listen to advice whether you take it or not.  Analyzing things with the intent of doing something about them is predicted.  The Moon squares Pluto in Capricorn and nothing but the most sensible will do.  Be fair in your dealings with others.  Tonight, the Libra Moon favors music and the arts and is in harmony with Mars retrograde in Leo so you may get to act the part you dreamed of in the past.  This is very extroverted energy so it should be a good night out. The performers rule the stage but the backstage crew shines too.  Costumes, scenery and makeup! If you're working or at home the creative juices should flow.  Wear light blue.

Wednesday
The Moon is solidly in Libra in harmony with the Sun and Venus in Aquarius! This would have been a great situation for Valentine's Day so act as if!  Love and relationships, friendships and the groups we belong to are important today!  Get involved, make a date, work out a friendship riff, and attend gatherings, parties, fundraisers, or just get people out to lunch together!  It should be easy to connect and make plans.  Libra is the sign of partners, couples and best friends, so be a duo but hang with other cool people together!  Like minds will attract and can really make progress in work situations too! Team up.  Tonight minor disagreements or  misunderstandings could be the result of Libra Moon square to Mercury, but the goal  should be to work out what is most fair to all.  Listen carefully and try not to react quickly to avoid misinterpreting someone. Aries, attention and sensitivity is required in all your close relationships.  Cancer, work something out with a partner and significant other as disagreements are in fact likely for you at home and in love.  Gemini, Libra, Aquarius, Sagittarius, you have the best conditions for making a date or just having a great time with friends! The Moon is void of course from 4:28 to 11:55 am EST. During those hours judgment isn't likely to be spot on so if you can wait on an answer or commitment, after noon time is more of a sure thing.  Use the morning hours for routine work, cleaning and organization.  Write everything down since we're likely to be forgetful too!  Lies and half truths are forecast for the early hours so don't be too gullible. Trust your gut reaction to someone's story.  The Moon moves to Scorpio at 11:55 am.  Focus should kick in.  Scorpio Moon time is relentless and unforgiving so no excuses allowed!  Pay attention to personal matters and keep them private! Nose to the grindstone with work.  In the evening the Moon aligns with Jupiter in Pisces and Mercury in Capricorn keeping spirits lifted and conversation flowing.  Tonight is great for creativity and not bad for love lives.  Cancer and Virgo you should feel good about this!  Scorpio and Capricorn you make a good team today.  Wear dark reds.

The Scorpio Moon squares both Mars and the Sun. Full Moon things from last week are activated again! Today our patience will be tested! Heated situations are activated and answers may not be easy.  Scorpio Moon time is stubborn and compromise and forgiveness will be a struggle.  We may have to wave white flags and agree to disagree.  Otherwise arguments and strong feelings dominate the day.  Mars is retrograde so some of this is old business revisited.  Issues regarding infidelity and other forms of disloyalty come up.  Try not to give anyone reason to doubt or distrust you today.  The Scorpio Moon means we'll dig our heels in and do things our own way. Some sulking or acting out is likely.  Mind your own business today. Taurus will find relationships particularly difficult and Scorpio could be feel similar.  Business may be difficult for Cancer and Cancer and Capricorn will worry or haggle about money.  Tonight should be kept simple. It may be as intense as last week's Full Moon or more so! Wear black.

The Moon is void of course in Scorpio from 11:12 am until 7:03 pm. The Moon squares Venus in two fixed signs so disagreements or just not finding your nearest and dearest in sync continues.  Get routine work done and keep to yourself or at least avoid gossip today.  If you need to make a solid plan do it early in the day.  After 11:12 am it may be hard to make the best decision.  At 7:03 pm the Moon moves to Sagittarius for a much more fun, free spirited night.  That doesn't mean people will be reliable though!  Jupiter in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn make for an interesting and eclectic combination this afternoon and tonight. Take dreams and fantasies and make them real?! Keep you might flexible enough so that you can take your best offer and not disappoint a friend.  This day should get better as it goes on.  Pisces, Sagittarius, Leo, and some Scorpios get sweet vibes.  Wear purple.

Sunday
The Sagittarius Moon engages with Saturn, Jupiter and Mars. Stay flexible but organized! In other words, have a plan and a system but be willing to adapt that if necessary.  Keep things to scale rather than overdo or exaggerate and avoid disappointment or the word "no".  The Moon and Mars in fire signs dominate the day so there's no holding back or keeping a fire sign down!  Leo, Aries and Sagittarius have emough motivation and spark for all of the zodiac!  Scorpio and Taurus, you must get organized with financial situations even if you really want to have fun with the rest of them.  Last minute plans could go exceedingly well!  Today's color is red.

Full Moon Time

Full Moon in Leo January 30th 1:18 am

In the sign of heart and spine, the sign of courage and creativity, I've been feeling like this Full Moon would pack an intense emotional wallop! I'm a Leo though, so could I be projecting? That's always a possibility but I was really basing my prediction on the proximity of Mars retrograde in Leo and the opposing energy of Venus in Aquarius.  Even if you're not an astrologer or a follower of the stars, the words opposition and retrograde give you a clue.  If you're a fan of mythology, you know that Mars is the warrior, an aggressive force.  Mars is masculine and Venus feminine and when the two stand on opposite sides with their arms crossed in the fixed manner of Leo and Aquarius, relationship issues are not easy to resolve.  In this particular month, with Mars retrograde, old and unfinished business is the ultimate trigger so if you're going through a rocky stage, a divorce, or a make or break time, unresolved matters are the enemy.

It's a white hot Moon, fueling anger but also passions.  Jealousy, flirtations, infidelity, and strong undeniable feelings drive alot of activity as the Moon burns bright.  Mars near the Full Moon lends an air of competition, and we'll tend to do whatever is necessary to win the heart and attention of the one we desire.  At the same time, we'll stand far opposite the partner we take issue with. Realities we haven't faced up to become impossible to ignore.  Leo and Aquarius are most impacted in long term relationships, while Aries and Libra may be dealing with the same issues with significant others particularly since Saturn retrograde in Libra is also impacting the Leo Moon.  Conclusions reached during this Full Moon are serious and lasting. The Sun in Aquarius urges us to balance the heart with the mind and some visions beyond the moment.  Saturn pushes for some structure and definition around strong emotional heart-strong decisions.  The heart is a muscle, and Leo is forceful not passive and can be enormously brave and giving in love.  Determining what's really good for us in love and relationship is part of this Full Moon, and some of us will take big steps to resolving or confirming strong feelings, whether that means establishing commitment to or independence from another.  Oppositions. Extremes. Things are likely to be polarized in one direction or the other.

Other Full Moon effects include career matters and mature responsibilities for Scorpio, one sign most likely to be struggling for independence and some recognition.  Sagittarius and Gemini may need to break free more than other signs and find this to be a Full Moon of opportunity and worldly experiences.   For Virgo and Pisces some down time could be beneficial as this Full Moon can overwhelm with health issues or generally being overextended and trying to meet too many work obligations.  Remember the heart and spine are Leo ruled and vulnerable at this time.  Capricorn and Cancer should be vigilant with money, legal, and employment matters, aiming for successful negotiations and keeping balanced accounts.  Taurus, home life could be turbulent and opinions very strong and stubborn between members of the same household, from family to room mates.  Different living arrangements may come out of this period.  Full Moons illuminate the problems so we can see more clearly and Saturn adds a big dose of reality this month.

Now that we've aired out all the serious stuff, let's not ignore how much fun a Leo Moon instigates!  It's a great Full Moon to be single or dating and not in the relationship burdened by obligations or too many responsibilities. Parties, performances and events can only benefit from that Leo shine. Think bold, bright, creative, sparkly, outrageous, and brilliant. Adorn dramatically. Showcase your abilities. Be the strongest or the brightest with the Moon in the sign of the Sun, our solar system's biggest star. Act the part!
