Winter Solstice & New Moon in Capricorn Forecast ~ Astrology for December 18th-24th, 2022

Connecting with Crystals with Nico DePamphelis Wednesday December 28th 6:00 pm

Join me for this exploration of personal connection to crystals. Nico has a wealth of experience and crystal wisdom and will introduce ways to incorporate crystals in your life, environment and routine as well as explain how to use a crystal grid.

I am so looking forward to this!

And I feel a red stone for you/us today as I begin our Solstice forecasts. Jasper. I can see why immediately, because Jasper grounds us in times of stress or excessive activity including emotional activation. It is known as the Supreme Nurturing stone.

Saturday, December 17th we have a Holiday Market at 146 ocean St South Portland and I'll offer some mini readings by donation and I have a handful of pocket crystals, most around $8 and all under $20.

(too bad I don't have Jasper! But I have gorgeous amethyst points you can carry anywhere, a few selenite mini wands left, and some blue Apatite hearts!)

I'd love for you to stop by and meet some vendors close to Robin's Zodiac Zone's heart and vibration. YOu are already connected to them, whether you know or not! As you are all reading these forecasts and connected to me.

Happy Solstice!

Robin

ps if you stop by and I'm not around, I'll be right back :) I'll be bringing my Mom to the market!

Sunday ~ For most of today we have a Libra Moon, and the Moon agrees with Saturn in Aquarius and Sun in Sagittarius. Whether you're doing fun things, traveling, or contemplating a partnership or joining some sort of group or team, these aspects are favorable. Our connections with other people are highlighted whether in romance, friendship or collaborations of other kinds. Pluto squares the Moon at 5:35 pm ET, and this draws us in to notice how we actually feel about things and what we might do about any of that. Partnership differences are up for reconciliation and resolution. The Moon is then void of course until 10:31 pm before moving to Scorpio. There's a focused and passionate beginning to Solstice and New Moon week, with this Scorpio Moon. Today's color is Maroon, or any deep red. Happy first night of Hanukkah.

Monday ~ Scorpio Moon aligns with Venus in Capricorn, and this helps us get real about relationships, emotions, and focus on how we truly feel. Romance and love are implied, yet in sensible, practical ways such as how to move forward together, how to stay in the present moment and enjoy time together (yes those two things are different but either could be true), and mainly to move from denying our feelings to realizing them. Commitment is implied too. Are you ready to declare and/or act from a place of love. Stay in your heart with your intuition guiding. Wear Indigo.

Tuesday ~ Jupiter moves back into Aries, after a retrograde back into Pisces this year. Jupiter in Aries is all about fresh starts, expansion, learning new things, and moving forward. Today the Moon is in Scorpio, and in contrast this feels very reflective and contemplative, especially in emotional ways. Sentimental conversations come up as Mercury aligns with the Moon. Uranus opposite the Moon can stir up the insides and rattle us a bit. If you're realizing how you truly feel about something and what that means, it can upset the status quo in favor of change. Stay present with your feelings. If something unforeseen is said or felt, and if this is not time sensitive, can you be with that for a bit before responding? The changes happening on the inside are featured with this Moon time. Saturn and Neptune are also engaging with Scorpio Moon, and while one brings sharp edges or pressures, the other could lead us into rose colored dreams. What if neither of those is where  you want to be, and instead you lean into the present time, ask not to be pressured, and simultaneously do not run away from feelings or potential commitments. Open your eyes and mind to what's best for you. Try to stay uncluttered by external circumstances. Everything is every changing and New Moon is a couple of days away. Clear your energy. Listen to music, receive reiki, or do something else that feels like self care and removing obstacles or toxicity. Today's color is Blue.

Wednesday ~ This is the Solstice! The Sun changes signs at 4:48 pm ET marking the moment. Before then, the Moon moves to uplifting Sagittarius at 2:12 am and aligns with Jupiter, freshly returned to Aries and having it's first big moment in the sign of rebirth. The inspiration and impulse to grow into new situations, take a chance on something or someone, and generally move forward, comes with that trine. This could set your mind for New Moon intentions or action from the 23rd on. What is it that you want to learn or where do you see yourself going? What personal growth calls to you? The Sun in Capricorn squares Jupiter also, bringing up these potentially unanswered questions. An opportunity may come hand in hand with a difficult decision. The practical and the wild may clash as you consider any of this. One aspect that looks questionable and requires a warning of sorts as the Sag Moon opposes Mars retrograde in Gemini. Words may resonate too strongly or harshly. Stay away from someone who's looking for a fight or comes across as angry or dominant. This could also be an influence on travels, increasing issues around getting from here to there. Whatever  you're doing, be safe and cautious and maybe 'don't talk to strangers'. Wear Yellow to counter the longest hours or darkness and to stay in your power.

Thursday ~ Venus and Uranus align in a trine at 4:48 am ET. This might create surprising event or news surrounding love, relationship or something else close to your heart! Hoping for happy surprises, as Venus has a softening influence on Uranus's wild nature. This is the day before New Moon, known as a time for reflection and reconsideration. Sagittarius Moon is going strong though and may call us to activity, movement, travel, and temporary escapes or changes of scenery. Carve out a bit of time to just 'be'. Make a list of things that are meaningful to you, and that you may want to act on soon. Today's color is Pink.

Friday ~  Hanukkah and Christmas together with a New Moon in Capricorn at 5:17 am. At 2:49 am the Moon shifts to Capricorn and joins the Sun there. Overnight the Moon squares Jupiter in Aries for a continuation of what the Sun started two days ago. How to progress and grow is one topic associated with this. New Moon is time to intention and actions taken intentionally. If you have something important you're ready to act on, the next two weeks are favorable, and the closer to New Moon the better. Tune into your heart and inner voice so you act rationally and confidently. If the voice inside offers a warning instead, take this to heart. Capricorn New Moon is about organization and organizations, systems, governments, earth centered decisions such as where to live, what to build, and how to approach things, such as methods that may be most effective and efficient. Connect to nature, places, land, your home, and crystals, instruments and tools. Center yourself for holiday gatherings, so you remain true to yourself. Today's color is White.

Saturday ~ Capricorn Moon for Christmas Eve and Aquarius Moon for Christmas Day. If you have things to finish and accomplish, the Capricorn Moon vibes could be helpful. The Moon has several aspects including two conjunctions with Mercury and Venus. News, Communication, and Loving Relationships are highlighted. Mercury and the Moon both align with Neptune for a dreamier or more magical ambience and feeling. Make events a little bit more special with added touches, whatever they may be. Later in the evening, the Moon meets Pluto too, for quiet time and reminiscence. Void Moon begins then, at 10:11 pm ET. Take a breath and create some space for you. Wear Green ( I like the darker greens for today, like a pine tree).

Sunday's color will be Bright Blue.

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah and Solstice! I'll be on WMPG Thursday 1:30-3 pm Dec 22nd. Tune in!

Robin
