Monday
The Moon is in Cancer, sign of home, family, and strong intuition. We'll be very sensitive to the people and situations surrounding us today. Cancer often reacts by retracting, like a crab into it's shell. The Moon is in Cancer until 5:08 pm EST.  Today is full of astrological activity, but Saturn starts and ends the "party" so let's focus on the planet of discipline and challenge.  Saturn is retrograde in Virgo, squaring Venus before sunrise.  Responsibility to each other is important with this aspect. Is it time to take a good, clear look at whether you're treating your partner as an equal and whether you're putting enough effort in? Saturn comes down hard on us if we don't learn the lessons as they're presented.  Take an objective look at relationship issues. The negative effect is too much conflict or aggression. Aquarius might experience that in relationships and Capricorn should be careful with partnership and financial negotiations that could lead to problems.  The Moon is opposing Neptune. We should have some much needed flexibility and the ability to get things done without too much interference today.  Things that need to be rethought or rescheduled post Mercury retrograde will be dealt with in the next couple of days.  All the day's dominant energy is in earth signs Taurus, Capricorn and Virgo, and a practical, hands-on, willing attitude is called for.  It's not a bad day socially either.  Go with the flow.  Have productive conversations.  Leo and Aquarius, deal with business efficiently.  Gemini, make sure things are done at home and talk to housemates and family members if things need to be solved or resolved.  Sagittarius, make a career move. Moon square to Pluto is an inner process in many ways.  Inner struggle might be part of that. Today is good for getting motivated. It's a good idea not to bee too impulsive while Mercury is still retrograde for another day. However if things have been delayed or static, plan for changes and decisions soon. Power struggles are probably not worth the trouble since new information and brand new news is likely by the end of the week and may change your perspective.  Capricorn and Cancer, family things or home related work may seem pressing. The Taurus Moon starts a new lunar cycle at 9:04 pm. This New Moon is meant to be very constructive, geared toward creating more security, investing, and also improving our physical bodies.  For Taurus it's a birthday gift from the heavens and a change of image, appearance or direction is favored in the next two weeks especially.  Mercury retrograde is also over, so it's a better time for any sign to make a move or break news.  The Moon squares Mars in Leo today which is a challenge to work hard to make progress. Monday
The Moon is in Capricorn in harmony with the Sun and Mercury retrograde aligns with Pluto. All of this happens in Taurus and Capricorn so taking a practical, realistic approach is the best plan.  Restructuring, making things work more efficiently, and being productive is favored.  Rearranging, rescheduling, and rethinking may all be called for.  Reversals will be common, so changes of mind, heart and plans are in the forecast.  Mercury and Pluto combine for revisiting the past as well. People may seem detached and unwilling or unable to deal with emotional things.  Take a step back and reevaluate something.  Sagittarius this is likely to relate to work and possibly situations with your coworkers. The Moon is in Capricorn until 4:51 pm EST.  There's a fairly short void of course Moon from 3:07 to 4:51 which is a time to avoid shopping, arguments and discussions that are important, and any kind of big decision.  The Sun squares Mars today which can be very difficult and stubborn.  This happens in Taurus and Leo and for those two signs will bring up relationship, family, and career challenges.  Aquarius and Scorpio may experience this too, possibly through or with their significant others.  Saturn in Virgo, retrograde, throws in a word to the wise and says do the mature thing.  Try to keep tempers in check today. The Moon moves to Pisces at 5:34 am.  The Pisces Moon is sensitive but also more flexible.   The Moon works well with Mercury retrograde, especially for reconnecting with people who mean alot to us. Capricorn, Taurus and Cancer are likely to experience this.  It's a creative day too, and versatility and ability to improvise counts!  Venus in Gemini and Mars in Leo create a dynamic day socially too!  It's a great day for love and friendship. Monday
The Libra Moon is in harmony with Mars activating our social lives.  During Mercury retrograde we are likely to meet up with old friends and even rivals.  Mars in Leo might bring a competitor back into the picture, especially for Aquarius or Scorpio.  Today it's important to be fair and try to be impartial and not judgmental! It might be hard but the day will go easier if you can reserve strong opinions.  Libra likes to keep the peace! Saturn is retrograde opposite Uranus in Pisces which easily throws us off kilter. Except for a short void of course Moon from 3:45 til then, today is free and clear of any planetary action.  It's a decent day to make a fair assessment of a situation keeping the pros and cons in mind and acting tentatively while Mercury is retrograde. Leave wiggle room in all big decisions.  The Libra Moon is about couples, partners and best friends and being a duo is a good thing today! Keep the numbers even. No one should be the odd one out.  The Scorpio Moon tonight is passionate, strong willed and extra intense as we get into this Full Moon zone.  The Moon is Full at 8:18 am tomorrow.  Taurus will feel it very strongly paired with Mercury retrograde and relationship matters go haywire for Scorpio and Taurus!  Leo, things at home come to a peak and family situations may be tense or stirred up.  Sagittarius and Gemini, are you sleepless this week? The Moon moves to Cancer at 7:29 am EST.
