Monday: Virgo to Libra Moon

The Moon is in Virgo, solid until 1:16 pm EDT and then transitioning through void of course time until 4:23 pm. During Virgo's hours, there's a sextile to Saturn in Scorpio. Practical, conservative solutions, trouble shooting, and helping out elders and those who need strong advisement is favored.  Once the Moon is void of course, avoid major decisions and conversations you need results from. This can be a good time to be excused from something you didn't or cannot follow through on. Make an honest excuse if need be.  Libra Moon comes at 4:23 pm EDT, and overnight the Moon will relate to Mars in Leo. Social activity picks up early this week. Today's color is lavender.

Tuesday: Libra Moon

The Moon is in harmony with Mars, active and outgoing in Libra and Leo.  Aim for balanced, fair resolutions.  Discussions will be passionate and may be heated. Stay calm and avoid arguments.  It's a day to consider sides of a story and bring up points of contention for review.  Resist the urge to jump to conclusions.  There's friendly energy too and motivation to get started or continue as we move through 1st quarter Moon.  The Moon squares Pluto in Capricorn at 7:30 pm EDT. Fair, concrete actions and solutions require effort but are possible.  The debate may be more internal as you consider different feelings and opinions of your own.  Today's color is white.

Wednesday: Libra Moon, Venus trine Uranus

Relationships and quick changes or news surrounding love lives is in the forecast as Venus in heart centered Leo aligns with Uranus in brave Aries and with Libra Moon.  Some of these changes may be impulsive or sudden due to Uranus's nature particularly in fiery Aries.  It's also exciting and passionate on the positive side.  Hope for the best if you hear others' status changes or announcements.  There's a lucky aspect to Venus in Leo, though Venus is retrograde and long term effects won't be known for a while.   Consider Venus retro as you make promises or reunite. This could be a quick fling, a late summer romance, or perhaps it will unfold to be much more. Thursday: Libra to Scorpio Moon

Void of course Moon lasts until 5:24 am, then Scorpio Moon takes over.  The Moon aligns with Jupiter newly in Virgo. Expand your way of thinking and of doing things. Alternatives around health, finances, and pet care are favored.  Jupiter in Virgo sets out to open new possibilities this year into 2016.  If you're ready, adopt a healthy habit or improve a method you were entrenched in.  Mars and Neptune also aspect the Scorpio Moon, with opposite effects.  Neptune lends imagination and a meditative side while Mars and the Moon engage in a potentially stubborn battle in fixed Leo/Scorpio.  Seek solitude if you're feeling heat from inside or elsewhere. Friday: Moon square Venus, Sun square Saturn

With important things pending, much patience and wisdom is called for today. The two squares require effort and thoughtfulness as you navigate relationship "goings on" and other business transactions. Leo is quite involved with the Sun and Venus in the lion's sign. Scorpio is highlighted too as Saturn and Moon act there. Both are fixed signs and we'll need opinions and plans to be supported emotionally and logically. It all needs to come together or nothing will result.  It's not an easy day to convince, sway or change but it is possible with patience and care.  Today's color is black. 

Saturday: Scorpio to Sagittarius Moon

The Moon meets Saturn and relates to Friday's forecast.  Aim for long term solutions.  Mercury in Virgo favors sensible outcomes. The Sun squares Scorpio Moon and later Jupiter squares Sagittarius Moon. This is more to be negotiated and worked through.  The void Moon is 3:31 pm to 4:41 pm EDT. Monday: Capricorn Moon

With a New Moon behind you, supporting all new adventures, make this week count! Creative ways of doing business and manifesting money, resources and goods are in favor today. Capricorn Moon is the most resourceful of all Moon signs, moving in at 11:31 am ET (before that the Moon is void of course). Neptune speaks with the Moon from versatile Pisces. Adjust your thinking, be more open to suggestions, and believe you can achieve. Attitude is most important. Tuesday: Capricorn Moon, Mercury conjunct Saturn

Mercury and Saturn have one final collaboration before Mercury scoots to Sagittarius on Thursday.  It's a decisive, strong willed, vocal influence impacting a few days and continuing a strong Sun/Saturn conjunction last week. Seek the best and most wise advice. Look for the voice of experience, possibly from an older person as Saturn rules the elders.  Make decisions about health, business, family and legal matters. Put your energy toward finalizing things. With Capricorn Moon it's often about business and employment including dealings with the boss, and that's likely for Libra and Aries. Gemini and Sagittarius, prioritize health and balance work with more rest.  Cancer, relationship and partnership decisions and important conversations or news are in the forecast this week. From 2:23 pm on, it's a social and community oriented Aquarius Moon with Neptune and Mercury aligned for music, art, and romantic times. Thursday: Happy Thanksgiving USA! Aquarius Moon

Gathering is what Aquarius Moon is all about! Get together with friends, family and also with common purpose and vision. The Moon works with Venus and Uranus, providing inventive ideas and a hunger for change and adventures.  Spontaneous plans can turn out great on a day like this! Dinner may lead to interesting conversations, games, and bigger parties as families and friends converge.  Uranus always has that unexpected element, so surprises may throw some of us off. The key is not to overreact or react too quickly.  All in all, this looks like a Thanksgiving of community, collaborative efforts and travels. Today's color is purple. 

Friday: Aquarius to Pisces Moon

This appears to be the most challenging day of the week. Take it slow and don't allow yourself to be imposed on or pressured. The Moon is void of course from 12:14 to 5:03 pm ET, and opposes Jupiter first.  One issue that creates is too much spending and another is overindulgence.  Try to moderate. Saturn squares the Moon, and advises us to take care of responsibilities, especially writing and studies. Look over things and revise later if you work during void of course Moon. Also, today is ideal for just enjoying friendship and not doing any business at all, especially during void of course Moon. Pisces Moon moves in and squares Mercury. Be judicious with words to avoid sensitive reactions or misunderstandings. Mercury, now in Sagittarius, is not always the most tactful. Brutal honesty may be unnecessary.  There's a judgmental tone in the background today, and you may have to tune that out. It could come from family, management, or from within. Saturday: Pisces Moon

Pisces Moon interacts with the Sun and Venus in Sagittarius. Revisit places you have a soft spot for, but don't expect that nothing's changed.  It's a sentimental weekend. Misunderstandings between fiery and watery personalities might be triggered. Is the other person too insensitive or are feelings just on edge? More than likely it's just experiencing life from two different perspectives, however relationships may be a bit tricky today as Venus and the Sun in freedom loving Sagittarius contrast the emotional and vulnerable Pisces Moon. The early hours are solid for final decisions as the Moon and Sun form a sextile in Taurus/Cancer at 10:12 am. Gemini Moon marks a multitasking time for the next couple of days. Network and combine friendly meetings, social plans, and business negotiations.  Gemini Moon aligns with Jupiter in Leo for events and festivities. Meet new people. Put names with faces. Tuesday: Sun in Leo

Mercury is opposite Pluto today, and with Saturn now direct, serious decisions and conversations take place. Putting something to a rest, finishing tough processes and negotiations, and deciding once and for all can be the result. Face fears and old wounds and maybe this becomes a pivotal day or week.  The Moon is in Gemini for versatile problem solving and ability to adapt.  The Sun moves to Leo at 5:41 pm EDT and the height of summer begins. Reason to nest, improve your living space, or to visit family comes in the next few weeks.  Venus in Cancer is more nurturing for the soul and less outgoing than Venus was in Gemini. If you strayed in a relationship or were thinking about it, the urge is to pull back to long term commitment.  If you were overly busy for a few weeks, the vibe is more about being at home and finding ways to enjoy it. Saturn is direct, finally, following a retrograde in Scorpio since March 2nd. Pressure may be alleviated soon in difficult and frustrating matters and mental and physical health issues. Put effort into things you have just about given up on, not just today but in the weeks ahead.

Weekly Astrology July 1st to 8th, 2013

Monday: Sun opposes Pluto, Venus square Saturn

 Venus newly in Leo squares Saturn in Scorpio on the same day the Sun opposes Pluto. The contrast between light and dark is strong today. There's Sun and Leo energy battling it out with Pluto, Scorpio's ruler, and the depressive or suppressive pull of Saturn. It can impact us in many ways one being that things are harder to take care of and at least appear more complex at the moment. Saturn will be direct on the 8th, helping things open up more. For today you might have to accept a stalemate or walk away from a stubborn problem. Relationship is one area of contention since it's Venus involved. The Sun and Pluto opposite with Mercury retrograde nearby will be evident in past issues that come up again. Some may act overly ambitious or take actions that require more time and better judgement. Go slow right now and try not to push emotional buttons or force issues. The Moon is also void of course adding to the lack of best judgement. At 5:43 pm the Moon moves to Taurus and it may be easier to be practical and grounded. The Moon and Jupiter align and it's a good night to work in the garden, be outside, cook a big dinner and find optimism and ways to work things out for now. Today's color is gold.

 Tuesday: Moon opposes Saturn

 The Saturn influence is at work again, today in an opposition. Saturn is retrograde in Scorpio and issues around the elderly, legacies and wills, and business deals come up yet are likely to be on hold or delayed. News about such things may only be frustrating today, but the 8th is the date to watch for when Saturn's business begins to move forward again. The Moon opposite Saturn manifests in Taurus long term relationships, Leo home and family life or career plans, Libra and Aries financial matters and Capricorn's ability to relax and have fun. Agreeing to reconvene on such things in a week or so may be a better idea than pushing for decisions and answers today. The Taurus Moon engages with other planets too and works well with the Cancer Sun so by tonight relaxation may be easier to come by. Avoid a power struggle today. People are likely to be stubborn.  Wednesday: Mercury retrograde sextile the Moon

 The Moon in harmony with Mercury retrograde in Cancer makes this a big day of reconnections and reunions. Aries and Taurus experience this with family and it's a day where some will forgive and forget past differences. Capricorn may experience this in long term relationships. Cancer is very likely to get back in touch with or spend time with old friends. For everyone there's a sentimental feeling in the air. Go back to places you love and be with people you've known for a long time. It's also a good day for working outside and beautifying home and garden. Wear blue today.

 Thursday: Gemini Moon, Sun square Uranus

 The Moon is in Gemini, sign of short trips, brothers, sisters and cousins. Today is set up to be busy, full of movement, travel and communication. The mind will be busy too. Outlets are needed for mental energy and that can include good conversations, stories, humor, or time spent writing or in other forms of self expression. Create a photo journal or blog today if you're not celebrating the holiday with others (USA July 4th). The Sun in Cancer and Uranus in Aries do create some tension around unexpected changes and news, likely between family members or about home due to the Cancer placement. Unpredictable behavior and unusual changes are two ways we could see this square manifest. People will resist authority. The main idea with this square is do not take unnecessary risks with explosives or fire (Uranus in Aries) or with hurting feelings (Cancer). Play on the safe side today in every way. Keep it all in fun under the entertainment loving Gemini Moon. At night, the Moon and Venus combine for festivities and romance and it's a good date night if you're out being social.  The Gemini Moon in harmony with Uranus is full of ideas and plans. Spontaneous road trips and visits are favored. Work is energized too, particularly your own personal projects and priorities. Dive into something you're excited about today. Get others together for brainstorming sessions and weed out the best ideas another time. Make lists of priorities. Otherwise just focus on fun! Saturday: Cancer Moon conjunct Jupiter and Mars

 The Moon meets Mars first, in Gemini at 8:30 am ET and then begins hours void of course. Choose words very carefully this morning especially with Mercury retrograde. Avoid old issues, bringing up the past, and too much criticism. The mind is likely to be busy and possibly preoccupied. There's an edge to the day so tred lightly and take care of simple things. It's a social day, good for get togethers as long as the mood can be kept light. The Moon moves to Cancer at 6:14 pm and meets Jupiter in the sign of home, family and our feelings. Jupiter is a booster shot of a planet and we can be more resilient, creative, and optimistic even if faced with challenges. Open up to another way of thinking tonight. Expand your ideas and possibilities. With Jupiter in Cancer we examine the way we live and make improvements upon where we live. Home is very important this year.  This is the eve of the New Moon and there are plenty of planetary aspects keeping us hopping. Reconsidering things and getting ready for changes is highly likely, yet with Mercury and Saturn retrograde, things will shift again. Make temporary plans, see how you feel tomorrow and again after July 20th when Mercury retrograde is done. Saturn will station direct tomorrow and that should free up some energy and remove a roadblock in some situations. Move carefully though and with good advice.
