Solar Eclipse Week ~ April 16th-22nd, 2023

Sunday ~ Changes, both expected and unexpected rev up this week with a Solar Eclipse/New Moon at the final degree of Aries on Thursday 12:13 am ET.  This degree is symbolized by a heavenly choir joining the self, earth and heavens in harmony. Brand new endeavors get a strong green light. Pisces Moon aligns with both Mars and Mercury today. Mercury is close to retrograde and we may feel this as movement on things that were pending and in process for quite a while. Green is today's color. 

Monday ~ Pisces Moon aligns with Uranus overnight and meets Neptune at 2:57 pm ET. Dreams may takew shape in ways you could never have predicted. Emotional shifts and changes are likely too. From 2:57 pm to 9:09 pm ET the Moon is void of course. Do not be taken far off course and keep your bearings during this nebulous time. Aries Moon meets Mercury, contributing to the go ahead and leaps of faith. Orange is today's color.

Tuesday ~ Aries Moon, and the New Moon eclipse approaches. The Moon is in harmony with Venus for sharing of ideas and planning together. Mars squares the Moon pointing out different methods and approaches and potentiallly stalling things due to creative or constructive differences or due to resentment or anger in the way of movement. Red is today's color.

Wednesday ~ Aries Moon and the Solar Eclipse is overnight into Thursday. Jupiter in Aries is the active and influential planet, encouraging growth and progress. In with the new and adventurous! Eclipses rattle and stir and give a huge push for movement and change. Some will feel and need to respond to the inevitable now. Mercury is close to retrograde so there may be conflict between playing it safe and leaping ahead and accepting new challenges and opportunities. Listen deeply to your inner wishes and dreams. Thursday ~ Solar Eclipse 12:13 am ET at 29 degrees Aries. At 12:30 am the Moon enters Taurus, so Taurus things like money, comfort, security and stability are implicated during this eclipse time. What move creates both the new scenario you need and the stability to trust this move? Some things will be out of your control and require only  your response, making it less of a decision and more of a natural progression. Taurus Moon square to Pluto promises plenty of introspection. The Sun also moves to Taurus at 4:14 am ET. Taurus Moon aligned with Saturn equals emotional commitment and heartfelt promises. Make sure they come from the heart not only a sense of obligation. Today's color is Green.

Friday ~ Taurus Moon aligns with Mars in Cancer and meets Mercury. Commitments and requests for long term agreements are in the forecast, yet Mercury is moving retrograde. Can you keep agreements flexible and open for some revisions in the future?At 4:35 am ET, Mercury begins the retorgrade officially. Uranus and the Moon meet and today may have very uncommon occurences in the wake of the eclipse and with the retrograde beginning. How much can you go with the flow and stay uncluttered and unencumbered? Focus on home, stability, family and promises you can keep. Wear Yellow.

Saturday ~ Taurus Moon void from 11:41 pm ET on Friday to 6:11 am Saturday. The Gemini Moon brings a social aspect to the weekend. The Moon aligns with Pluto for deep thinking and squares Saturn in Pisces which may cause flip flops between excitment and dread. Take things slow and check in with how you actually feel. Today's color is Blue.

Sunday ~ Happy Easter to you if you're celebrating the holiday. Scorpio to Sagittarius Moon may lighten the Sunday mood, at 8:57 am ET. First the Moon opposes Venus for Venus's last aspect in Taurus. If you went to bed mad or sad, especially due to a love or partnership disagreement, it may brush off quickly once the Moon changes signs. Our focus is likely to move from inner dwelling to a more outgoing attitude. Free yourself of an unnecessary burden or mood this morning. Or at  least, be open to doing something interesting today. The Moon aligns with Pluto which could be quite philosophical, but open minded. I'm not really used to this Moon/Saturn square in Sagittarius and Pisces yet, but it's an ongoing pattern monthly. My best intuition and feeling is that it can bring up questions of responsibility to others and whether we choose to accept that. Commitment could be an issue today, but a road trip, change of scene and refresh are all favored. Today's color is Purple.

Monday ~ Sagittarius Moon in harmony with Sun in Aries brings the fire, light and movement. Jupiter also in sync with the Moon and Sun expands upon that and magnifies all that's related to growth, opportunity and optimism. It's the end of Venus in Taurus and a good day to finish a project or commit in relationship as Venus is about to take flight! Red is today's color.

Tuesday ~ Venus moves to Gemini at 12:47 am ET. This could break up stagnant relationship energy and divide or scatter our attention to multiple places of interest. Travel becomes more appealing as does exploring dating. Creative writing is favored including poetry and playing with words and sounds. Venus in Gemini is like song, birds in flight, and romance evolving and shifting. Venus aligns with Pluto for some awareness and reflection on any of this. Sagittarius Moon squares Neptune and people may be hard to find or get commitments from today. Void Moon 6:48 am ET to 1:33 pm ET and the Moon moves to Capricorn. Capricorn Moon is uneventful, in itself. However the Sun meets Jupiter today for big moves and bold decisions, going new places, and acting courageously. Wear Gold.

Wednesday ~ Capricorn Moon opposite Mars, in harmony with both Mercury and Uranus. Honestly, this just feels like a strange or unusual day to me. Things may really flux from angry to surprising good. Clashes over family or home matters or one not honoring the other's emotions may occur with that Mars opposition. But Mercury in harmony with the Moon feels like productive communication while Uranus has some surprising revelation or change in store. Today's color is Blue.

Thursday ~ Mercury is close to retrograde, and this Capricorn Moon means time to finish a project or anything on the to do list. Next week signals a very unstable cycle with eclipses and Mercury retrograde ahead. Practice diligence and use your intuition about what really should be completed today. Void Moon in Capricorn 10:14 am to 4:42 pm ET. Make copies and back ups of anything important and send follow up emails/notes. Even during the void of course Moon, try to stay on a focused track. Close a deal. Aquarius Moon moves in, meets Pluto, and aligns with Venus tonight. Group process and awareness of your role is of importance. Wear Silver.

Friday ~ Complexities seem to rule this day. Venus in Gemini squares Saturn in Pisces for some sorting out in relationships and/or emotions. Uncomfortable seems to describe this. Work through discomfort or sit with it. Other or others are likely to be involved. Aquarius Moon squares Mercury in Taurus and communication feels sticky and unclear...are we even speaking the same language? Another thing to work through, hopefully patiently. Ask clarifying questions and try not to be 100% inflexible. Finally the Moon squares Uranus and again, the effect could be unsettling. Unless it's absolutely necessary, try not to overrespond or act too quickly. It's a good night to sleep on something before acting on it. Today's color is Black.

Saturday ~ Aquarius Moon to begin with. The Moon in harmony with Jupiter and the Sun induces a modd swing for the positive. This is a reminder of the expansive nature of earlier this week. Act on the heart's desire and the gift of opportunities. Shed the feelings of doubt someone else may have placed in your mind. But use your intuition and feel that inner YES before doing so. Do not ignore red flags, but do not get caught up in self doubt. Those two things are different. What is it that you need to move forward into or to stick with because it is who you are and feels like purpose? Do that. It also could be a day for a simple adventure, with others. From 11:16 am to 6:57 pm ET, the Moon is void of course and then is in Pisces for the evening. Care, self care, creativity, intuition, music, and romance may all be part of the night. Sunday ~ Full Moon approaches as we move into a new week and the new month. This month begins eclipse season and changes may be announced, accelerated and unexpected. Leo Moon shifts to Virgo near sunrise ET, 6:57 am. Get the house and home organized today. The Moon aligns with Mars in Cancer also activating energy between family members. Some may get back in touch, some may need you or have news. Saturn opposes the Moon so we are dealing with emotions and life stuff early in the week. Another shift is about to happen as this is the final day of Mercury in Aries. Wear Brown.

Monday ~ Move from making and dreaaming up plans to really grounding in them and making some decisions this week as Mercury enters Taurus at 12:22 pm ET. The shift may be felt by the end of the day as Mercury squares Pluto in Aquarius and all of this may feel quite new and different. Pluto hasn't been in Aquarius very long and after years of Pluto in Capricorn, new patterns are being created. This may also be mentally challenging. Virgo Moon aligns wiith Uranus in Taurus, speaking of inevitable and immediate changes. Overnight, Venus aligns with the Moon which could mean a nice date night tonight. It also could enhance your sense of beauty and design. Get cozy. Wear Navy Blue.

Tuesday ~ Virgo Moon aligns with Venus and then opposes Neptune all between 2 am and 10 am ET. Romance, dreams, art, creativity and sense of order and beauty are highlighted. Stay grounded in those dreams so they manifest and don't merely distract. Libra Moon from 5:51 pm on and the Moon is almost Full. Libra Moon and Pluto align in air signs for intelligent and thoughtful gestation. Devote tonight to study, to a decision, and to reflection on self and relationships. Wear Lavender.

Wednesday ~ Full Moon is overnight into Thursday, at 12:34 am ET. The Full Moon in Libra pouts all forms of partnership front and center. If some is inequitable or imbalanced otherwise, issues will rise up for resolution. If it's a home or family matter, the Moon square Mars initiates the process at 4:12 am ET. Early part of Full Moon may relate most to this; family and household. Give efforta in order to move things along. Mercury and Saturn are in harmony in earth and water signs, encouraging grounded agreements and follow through. Everything, from strain and struggle to joy and love, can feel amplified by Full Moon today, tomorrow and this week. If it's sensible, in matters that are about some else not yourself, practice being impartial and let people make their own decisions and feel more empowered. Today's color is Blue.

Thursday ~ Full Moon 12:34 am ET, in Libra. Jupiter opposes the Moon, from Aries, hours later and is the most influential planet during this Full Moon. Jupiter expands and broadens in a variety of ways. The push for growth is strong now, and is strong during sprin season. Think of the plants and buds pushing their way through. Notice they also follow nature's cues. Can you also do that? If it's not something's time, let it rest and gestate longer. If it is something or someone's time, try not to deny that or squelch it because it goes against your hope or dream. That is the most prominent message of this Full Moon, in my estimation. Void Moon 8:43 am ET into tomorrow. Wear White today.

Friday ~ The Moon is in Scorpio from 2:29 am ET forward. Scorpio Moon squares Pluto. There's one of those new patterns we'll become more acustomed to over time. Mixed feelings are one of the effects. Sit with mixed feelings. Allow your feelings to change. Try not to hold tightly to be right or somehow save face. Know what you  know, feel how things are shifting, and act accordingly. Scorpio Moon aligns with Saturn and emotionally we may be able to discern the truth. The Moon opposite Mercury is the opportunity to blend logic and emotion for the best possible results and decisions. Avoid bypassing one or the other. Feel it, know it, act on it. Mars in harmony with the Moon relates again to family and smoothing out family or other close relationships. Venus and Neptune bring the romance, compassion and/or love as they collaborate in Taurus/Pisces. Today's color is Rose Red.

Saturday ~ Mercury aligns with Mars. Clear, consistent message and communication are important as plans and agreements form. Again, home, household, moving and family are highlighted. The Moon opposite Uranus may include quick changes of mind and heart. Can we roll with that in ourselves or others? Scorpio Moon characteristic is to hold on and stick with it, but Uranus is a catalyst for shaking things up and making change. Ideally, stable change is possible.
